Tormund is my favourite! He has eyes for Brienne because she's a big warrior woman and they will have great beasts of babies together that will be unstoppable. That's pretty adorable for some reason. Also that Brienne doesn't seem to know quite how to react to someone having a crush on her. It's probably a long shot as it probably wouldn't add to much to the story, but would be cool if they got together.

Like you mentioned, Tormund wanted to name himself King Beyond the Wall, and “host” can refer to a host of men - a military force. The OT God was called “God of hosts,” and Tormund being father of hosts could mean he banded together or created a military force.

Does the sound occur before the video is rendered out or only after you have the finished file? They sound like audio buffer stutters/tears to me. Basically, if you're trying to push your microphone at too low of a latency, or buffer length (in ms) your PC can kinda choke on it because it's a lot of signal to process with low delay and high fidelity. Try raising the buffer length within your recording program. Since you're recording a signal for an edited video the latency doesn't really matter here.

Regarding the name of ‘Speaker to Gods’ I immediately related that to a term frequently used in less advanced civilizations to explain actions in people they did not understand the causes of. Sometimes the people described that way were just mentally touched, but it is still relevant as is the case where I took a teenager laborer from a rural village, into the hospital after he suffered seizures, and his mom refused to give permission for treatment, seeing these seizures as a blessing and that he is ‘chosen’ and that these seizures are the results of the gods speaking to him. I’m not aware of the moniker having another explanation and took it to be Martin, or even Tormund himself, explaining that Tormund is indeed touched, or marginally crazy.

Horn blower and breaker of ice may be a relation to the horn of winter, said to bring down the great ice Wall, while a simple “he makes ice fall with his horn blast” is less than this warrior deserves. With Tormund I got the vibe he was well over 6 feet tall.
