Bo Peep bring a porcelain lamp was so significant to her character and her role. More passive, detached from the play-orientated world of the toys in general, yet possessing a -- shall we say -- *luminous* quality, a unique relationship with Woody in part due to her distance, and a guide where needed. Having her be active and energetic and familiar rather than somewhat ethereal destroys what's foundational about her as a character in the ensemble.
@hunterolaughlin2 жыл бұрын
I actually don’t mind Bo Peep being more active. It’s what I wanted her to be in the first film. Well… okay, not all action girl and climbing and swinging around on her shepherd’s staff, but what I mean is more involved during the significant events in the first film like taking more part in the toys’ lives like being a part of the staff meeting, communicating more with Buzz during the Strange Things sequence and actually defending her boyfriend when Potato Head, I mean, MR. Potato Head, (lol see what I did there? 😉), accuses him of intentionally knocking Buzz out the window and “murdering” him. I think making her more active in Woody’s life gives her more presence in the story than just being his girlfriend and on the side and doesn’t destroy her character foundation. Plus, if she could calm Woody down with reminding him of how Andy still loves him, then she could have used that same method to help calm the other toys down when they started freaking out over the news of Andy’s birthday being moved a week early and about the possibility of being replaced by new toys during the staff meeting in the first film. I’m sure it’s not just Woody that needs her advice, but Andy’s other toys as well.

I remember when this movie came out and I was flabbergasted by just how much I hated it. After going online afterwards, I saw people arguing about the intended message, but the one that stuck out to me the most was this, “If the first 3 movies were about family and sticking together, and in this one, Woody just drops everyone to be with Bo, does that mean romantic love is worth more than the love of your family?” I couldn’t say I disagreed because that’s how the movie presents it. No toy left behind, sticking together, friendship, family-all of it is just forgotten in an instant when Bo is involved. Left a really bad taste in my mouth.

It's a symptom of a deep societal illness. Sexual desire and romantic love are overtaken all human relationships in western culture. Friendship, family, and even parental love is being overriden by a new generation of artists who are obsessed with sex to the exclusion of all else. They dont understand friendship because they lack real friends. They dont understand family because they lack their own. All they have is a teenager's understanding of romantic love.

8 minutes in and I agree with her character being completely changed, but I would just like to add that she was not just made to be a love interest to Woody; she was the one put in charge of herding the other toys and being the most level-headed of them, the mother figure and the caretaker of the rest of the toys whenever Woody wasn't present. She was also the one that delivered the thesis of Toy Story 2 right in the introduction: "[Andy] will take you to camp with or without your hat" meaning Andy loves Woody whether he is damaged or has missing parts or not. Woody had to spend the entire movie trying to accept THAT message from Bo Peep, to trade preservation while standing still in a museum for Andy despite the damage and hardships that might entail. And the writers for 4 absolutely forgot about that... If Bo Peep were present in their rescue mission, I have confidence that her and Jessie will get along because of her wisdom.

On the topic of Andy's house suddenly having a driveway on the left side... In Kingdom Hearts 3, you can travel to the Toy Story world and run around the area outside Andy's house and guess what, there is no driveway on the left. Disney is VERY specific about how their worlds in the KH universe are designed, so it's very interesting how they let that slip by in the official final installment of this IP.
@BionBios2 жыл бұрын
That was the driveway for Andy's old house in Toy Story 1 that we saw in that scene. It looks like the Toy Story 4 crew couldn't be bothered to make the distinction between Andy's old and new house, and thus, double driveway. So it looks like it's just that the caliber of the people writing/directing Toy Story 4 is lesser than that of the guys behind Kingdom Hearts. Which is a little odd; one might expect that to Disney, movie > video game and should thus have a corresponding level of quality...

In the first 2 movies Bo is shown being a gentle source of wisdom for Woody, while also showing some initiative when it comes to rescue (Using the monkey chain, telling that buff toy to pull the lever to help Buzz and Woody). It wasn’t super often but it was often enough whenever she was on screen. I will agree though that she was definitely not the organized tactician shown at the beginning of 4. However, the detail of adjusting Woody's hat and then smiling at him in a sign of encouragement and then supporting him from the window, is exactly what she would do at that moment. What happens is that in that same sequence you hear how a sergeant directing the Barbies and the other toys to accomplish the mission can be justified because time really passed from the end of Toy Story 2 to the beginning of that scene inside the history fiction; and so it makes sense that she is the leader of Molly's room since from the first movie she was in her lamp next to the baby's crib. Okay I love this video, but I’m just going to defend the kindergarten teacher really quickly. I was a preschool teacher for a year. It was hectic. There were always 5+ kids constantly needing my attention at the same time, not to mention you have to keep your eyes on another 20. If a parent was in the room, my boss expected me to devote my attention to them 100% because they were the parents and they were the people we had to impress. It broke my heart that I didn’t have enough time and energy to devote to all of my students. A quick comment to a kid might be all I was allowed before a parent came in dropping off another kid and I then had to greet that parent and make sure the parent was satisfied. The kids always came second to the parents; it was the #1 rule. So, in this scenario, seeing as how there are multiple parents dropping off kids in this scene, I think we should give the teacher a bit of a break because she might be contractually obligated to tend to parents’ needs first and the kids’ second. Now, she definitely should have made sure Bonnie was sitting with kids when the school day started, but I’m just going to say that a first day of school is agonizingly nerve wracking for a preschool/kindergarten teacher. She’s got a lot going on. I absolutely adore this video… I wish that all movie reviews were this detailed. I just wanted to clear the air about teachers because she is absolutely not the worst teacher on the planet… she’s just doing her best.

As someone with PTSD, one act of bravery or "pushing through your fears" doesn't mean you'll never get triggered again, or that your trauma is gone entirely. I never really understood how people felt when talking about how the Star Wars Sequels. "It ruined my childhood!" "can't watch the originals anymore". While I like Star Wars, I didn't grow up with it and the idea of someone's childhood being "ruined" sounded like an over exaggeration. After leaving the theatre of Toy Story 4 I finally knew what people meant by that. It hurts watching older films and hearing them say "for infinity and beyond". Things just feel a little more hollow now. While I can't say it's "ruined" it is very sad knowing how butchered everything is. The seconded I got home I looked on the internet to try and find bad reviews. All I found was the film was the film being praised to the moon and back. I am so glad this review is 5 parts. Serious question here. Does anyone actually say "It ruined my childhood?" The only time I've ever heard that is in strawman arguments. At best, I've seen people say "It ruined something I loved during my childhood." I remember leaving the theatre with my friend and saying "That felt like an excuse to separate Woody from the gang for a Disney+ spin-off where they'd only have to pay one big-name actor instead of a full cast." It's sad to see something that was not just popular, but a milestone in the medium studied in schools being turned into something so soulless and transparent in its intentions to milk the fans of their money. But, what hurts the most is feeling like you're not allowed to be upset or complain about it because you might hurt the feelings of the creators. If the creators didn't care about the fans' feelings or went out of their way to intentionally piss them off, the fans should have every right to be angry and post their mean comments. Claiming that doing so is them being 'entitled manbabies' is, ironically, them being the most entitled, arrogant, hateful, and self-righteous in the situation.

Jessie's claustrophobia was a result of being kept in storage by Al. In TS2 she says "I can't do storage again, I just can't!", and I remember how hard that hit me as a kid. I imagined her laying in that dark case, trapped between two pieces of foam with a cutout the size of her body and not a millimeter of wiggle room, and imagined how long she might've been kept in there, suffocating but unable to die because she's a toy. THAT is what she is thinking about when she hesitates to jump in the box, and why she had to be reassured that she would be coming out again. I never saw the Toy Story of Terror special, but from what I saw of it here in your video, I don't think she defeated her claustrophobia forever; she just overcame it in that moment. There moral wasn't "Don't be afraid"; it was "Don't let fear stop you". Those are two very different morals, as the latter is achievable, and the former is usually not. You're going to be afraid in some situations, and that's okay. It doesn't matter IF you're scared, it only matters what you DO when you're scared. And Jessie should be celebrated for acting courageously when confronted with her greatest fear. That's why I think Jessie panicing in the closet in TS4 is correct. She has that trauma forever, and not every situation calls for her to triumphantly push through her anxiety. By the way, I also hated TS4 with a burning passion! But this is one point I disagree with you on. And like you, I enjoy over-analysing things like this. Hence, this comment, lol

I relate to Toy Story of Terror Jessie because I was really struggling with the Queens death until I immediately thought about my 2009 Woody, Mummy and Woody.EXE because I knew family came first and those 3 are my family! They helped me through the funeral and no wonder I got over it so quick

I’m so happy KZbin recommended this video. For years I’ve been telling people how much I hated this movie. I can’t believe how much praise it got. Thank you for this detailed criticism of it, there is so much I didn’t realize before. What I hated most about this movie is how little they used the original characters, how much they dumbed down Buzz, how much they radically changed Bo Peep, and Woody’s ultimate decision at the end.
@amandamakin15422 жыл бұрын
All those things I also HATED about this movie, & I felt like it was destroying my nostalgia, not letting me re-live it. - I don't like the new firey personality Bo Peep - Dumb Buzz is well, a dumb idea - The original toys barely spoke - Ducky & Bunny are jerks to Buzz for no reason - Two of my favourite Bonnie's Toys didn't appear (Totoro & Peas) - I had a panic attack from seeing & hearing Woody getting his voice box ripped out (& this movie is made for kids; I'm an adult & I STILL panicked!) - Didn't like Woody's final decision at the end, either; defeats the whole purpose of the first three movies - The bloopers also sucked & didn't make me laugh I don't understand why people liked this movie. I pretend it doesn't exist & that it ended after 3 & they rescue original Bo Peep from a mad toy collector similar to Al in a non-existent short.

Woody's decision is what makes this the first good Toy Story film. His blind obedience to human owners was always creepy. It always had a weird conformist vibe to it. It was a fantastic decision to have the setting's most fanatical human-worshiper be the one who actually escapes that way of thinking and lives for himself; that even if you're "just a toy," just a thing someone else created for their purposes, you have the right to pursue your own happiness. It was a great message especially for Pixar's usual audience.

Hollywood has been pushing a pathetic feminist woke stereotype lately which was the whole purpose of the rebrand Bo Peep. Which didn’t even make any sense because already have Jessie as a strong female lead who was written great originally but pushed to the side here when she could’ve just been upped to a leading role. It would’ve been much better for Bo Peep to have had that “boss” change due to being put in the antique market and if she made a surprise appearance to help them out for a scene. It was way weird to up her to main character status and push away Jessie and Buzz.

I honestly hoped this movie was gonna be partly about how Woody processes no longer having Andy in his life. He let him go in 3, but missing him and struggling to adjust to his new life due to the old happy memories could’ve made for a great emotional journey. Nah have him almost leave Andy during the timeframe between 2 and 3 and his struggle is not being the favorite… again.
@qty13152 жыл бұрын
A nitpick that always bugged me is that Woody is established to be a very old antique doll that belonged to other children before Andy. So, he's had to say goodbye to other kids before Andy, he should be used to it to some extent. At a certain point, yes, Woody should feel bad about moving on to the next kid, but there should be a sense of maturity regarding that. His insecurity comes from him needing to be the 'favorite' toy and the leader of the rest of the toys, not from becoming so attached to a specific kid that he struggles to fathom the idea of moving on from him. Jessie, I get, because she was abandoned, but Woody moved from kid to kid.
@dylanlewis51132 жыл бұрын
@@qty1315 Mike Mozart did a video years ago about Woody's back story. The information was gained from a Pixar employee that worked on Toy Story. If I remember correctly, Woody was basically a prototype for the Woody's Roundup toyline. The toyline had a short lifespan due to Space toys replacing Western toys. Woody belonged to Andy's father (Andy Sr.), and years later given to Andy Jr. Woody may not know that Andy was two different kids.

I am one of those people out there who has felt gaslit by others saying they love this movie. This articulated my thoughts quite well. There were a few times I thought "okay, that's a bit nitpicky" as I listened to your analysis - then suddenly remembering some absolute crap like Woody just completely forsaking his character in the prologue. Even if this _was_ a mere lapse in judgment - -it could've been telegraphed before that Woody is going through some difficult stuff -and Woody has always shown himself to be a stalwart, even stubborn character. Him _considering_ this is perfectly acceptable, he even considered leaving Andy in Toy Story 2. That however, was methodical. It was depicting Woody going through stuff, and then getting a lot of persuasive arguments, and a lot of guilt. Woody would never make such a spur of the moment decision. It is a moment of revulsion on par with Luke tossing aside his lightsaber. Both hardly a character martyrdom in of themselves, but a discordant prelude to the awful performance that is to come.

I will never understand why Woody stopped being the leader of the toys in this movie. In all the shorts after Toy story 3 he's still the one taking care of the toys (both Bonnie's and Andy's) and making the announcements, so obviously he's the leader. But suddenly after 2 years it's Dolly? I've seen people say it's because Woody isn't Bonnie's favorite toy; but that doesn't make sense because clearly Dolly isn't either and leading doesn't work like that. The only reason is that the creators wanted Woody to be even more useless than he is in this movie and not have another responsibility with the other toys so they made everyone indifferent to him even though in the 3 movies they keep recurring Woody as leader.

I was watching through this video when something suddenly struck me like lightning… something kinda knit-pick-ey, but still important… All of the toys here have faces and voices of some kind… in Toy Story 1-3 we’ve seen so many different types of toys have sentience, with some examples being the Speak n Spell, Etch A Sketch, the phone, and Totoro, all having personalities and interactions that didn’t always require mobility, standard motor functions, or voices to depict what or who they were. Hell, even the Etch A Sketch had personality with its quick-draw “duel” against Woody in the first movie. So why don’t we have more toys like that in 4? The reason for this movie's existence is the fact that they wanted to give Woody "character development" by making him go against everything he's about. 😊🔫
@Breh35432 жыл бұрын
But the fact he already had a development by moving on and finally letting go off Andy is something special and meaningful of toy story 3 especially the other toys , them finally moving on to a another child and create other great memories while cherishing the old ones like a treasure

I've never watched the spinoffs before, so I never knew how Bonnie was like there, so my only knowledge of Bonnie was from TS3 and TS4, which made my impression of her... Pretty bad. Sure, she's a kid, but the way she wanted Woody only to throw him in the closet like that felt both like an actual child and irritating because she knew Andy told her that Woody was his precious partner for the longest time, and he ENTRUSTED him to Bonnie. And now I'm just irritated. Because of how they wrote Bonnie in TS4. Which made me dislike the movie even more than I already did. I've always been the pariah in terms of TS4 discussions because I hate what they did to Buzz and Woody's friendship with him, and no one seemed to understand what I tried to say... Only for you to mention Buzz doing nothing during the opening rescue scene and GOD thank you so much. The ending especially rubbed me the wrong way because it felt like a literal spit in the face of TS2 and TS3. If people can pretend Shrek the Third never existed, I'm just gonna pretend TS4 never existed. TS saga ended at 3. End of discussion.

I remember entering the theatre for this film and being delighted by the fact that these characters I had grown up with (I was like 6 when 3 came out) had returned to the cinema. Only to be really disappointed that the writers had assassinated each and every character. This is my least favourite sequel of all time, not because it's a particulary bad film but because it's a HUGE disservice to an almost perfect trilogy and ruins everything I loved about these characters. I wish this film was never made. While I do feel like this is a bit nitpicky at half an hour in, it's appreciated the level of detail you're analysing in. The other odd thing about Jessie hyperventilating in the closet, is that it's *close*, *enclosed* spaces that get her. Namely box~like spaces, but small / tight like that, even if not an actual box will do. The closet is neither a tight space when you think about it, nor is it especially enclosed, due to the slats. So there isn't even darkness pressing in on her. Her outside world isn't cut off, and I feel like the toys could possibly push open the doors if needed for a breather, and then just hastily shut them again when door hanging dog alerts them. P.S. door hanging dog is adoreable. Lovely colour.

You know, I remember watching this movie for the first time, and thinking it wasn't that bad but still not liking it. Because of the thing that kept coming to my head, why is Woody's character so drastically different from how I remember him? Why is he deciding to stay with Bo if he values family and staying together so much? Woody's character changed so much from the movies I grew up with, that it was pretty jarring to be honest. But I only saw it once, so I never really realized how much I actually hated the movie. Until I finally started watching other people talk about how much they hated the movie. To thanks for that! Great video!
@Scythemantis2 жыл бұрын
Valuing family and "staying together" for its own sake are bad things. People should pursue their own lives, which made Woody's characterization in this more realistic. He was a follower, and then suddenly realized he doesn't have to be.
@trinaann14522 жыл бұрын
You feel this way because change is difficult to deal with. Unfortunately in life it is the only thing that is ever constant. There is a feeling of betrayal when someone is not who they were before but it happens often. Woody went through a painful existential crisis creating sadness when he just accepted his place was gone.
@mystman12102 жыл бұрын
In Toy Story 3, he leaves the gang to stay with Andy while the rest of them stay at daycare. And he does so on bad terms. He only goes back when he realizes they're in trouble. In Toy Story 4, Woody is willing to stay with the gang for Bonnie's sake until Buzz says it's okay for him to stay with Bo Peep and pursue something that he's discovered that gives him a better purpose. Woody also contemplated leaving in Toy Story 2. So no, his character hasn't changed at all, people are just upset that he actually went through with leaving to pursue something else this time.
@practicalpisces2 жыл бұрын
@@mystman1210 False. Bull hockey. Woody's character was all about loyalty. Toy Story one had him try to stay Andy's favorite. Toy Story 2 had him _briefly_ consider leaving Andy, to avoid the day Andy outgrows him, before remembering the bond they have (which turned out to be the right choice since Andy stitched him up at the end). Toy Story 3 had Woody stay loyal to Andy even when the other toys were convinced that the latter was done playing with them (which, again, was the right decision because he did not have to go through the caterpillar room mayhem). Woody valued his kid's happiness over play time even when everyone else did the opposite. In Toy Story 2, he told the prospector that while he could not stop Andy from growing up, he "would not miss it for the world," and he told Buzz that "when it all ends, (he)'ll have old Buzz Lightyear to keep him company. For infinity and beyond." Woody's character became inconsistent with the opening flashback for Toy Story 4, which takes place between TS2 & 3, because of what he said in 2. He never would have tried to leave with Bo Peep. This was done to make the ending of TS4 more believable, but it does not match the Woody from the first three Toy Story films. "This job is not about being played with, it's about being there for Andy" when he needs them. Whether that is in the attic or at college. Woody only moved on from Andy after the latter passed his toys to Bonnie. It was Andy's decision, and as a toy, Woody became loyal to Bonnie as she became his new owner. Watch the Toy Story short films. Woody loved his family of toys. He loved his kid. He had no plans to leave. No thoughts about Bo Peep. No mention of Bo Peep. No apathy whenever Bonnie did not play with him. When Bonnie played the video game in "That Time Forgot," he did not complain. Woody was grossly out of character in this film. This is an undisputable fact. Oh, and there is only one purpose for a toy: to be played with. Woody does not have a "better purpose" at the end of 4. He just left his kid because less play time, dealing with a suicidal spork, and Bo Peep returned in his life. He did not remember his motto, his philosophy. He put his desires over being reliable for his kid which is something he would never do, especially not after Toy Story 2.

Here's how I would change Toy Story 4: - I would keep the intro. Nonetheless, I would also remove the Operation Pull Toy sequence with the window. I would have Buzz and Jessie work together to open the window. Rex or one of the other toys can be shown retrieving the barrel of monkeys and helping Bo pull Woody up. - Woody would consider joining Bo in the intro, but he would see his boot instead of Andy. Andy would enter the scene only after the car leaves. - Bonnie's parents are more caring and buy her a box of supplies meant to create a toy, but she loses the base form. Thus, Woody gives her a spork, resulting in the creation of Forky. - Woody has traumatic visions of the incinerator when he sees Forky attempt to throw himself into the trash. Woody, Jessie, and Buzz would probably experience trauma from the first three movies in their own way. Overcoming your trauma doesn't always mean that it simply disappears. - Buzz accidentally presses his chest button due to a bump on the road, allowing Forky to escape and throw himself out the window. - Woody promises to meet his friends at the carnival at a set time. Woody, Slinky, and Jessie jump out the window together, but Buzz is stopped when Bonnie momentarily wakes up. - Woody repetitively attempts to convince Forky that he matters, but he keeps failing due to Forky's many questions. Woody tells him the story of his life as well. - Gabby Gabby is much more menacing. There is a scene where she tortures Wheezy for his squeaker only to realize that it is not a voicebox. He is saved by a hooded figure. - Bo Peep meets Woody in the antique store instead of in the park. Harmony takes them both to the park. - Bo gradually becomes more and more embittered over the course of the film due to Gabby Gabby's taunts and the hardships throughout the course of the film. - I would remove Ducky and Bunny completely. - The toys search for Woody and the others to the best of their ability. They have much more significant roles in this film. Bonnie's parents decide to stay a little longer to cheer Bonnie up. - Buzz would not get strapped and become the grand prize. Instead, he would fly over the carnival and accidentally crash in an attempt to avoid birds and the rides. then, he would be captured by Gabby Gabby upon seeing the antique store and Forky. - Duke Caboom and Jessie create a distraction as Woody and Slinky free Buzz. He is torn to pieces by Duke. Desperate to save her sheep, Bo attempts to save them from the cat. However, Woody risks his life to save Bo, causing Forky to wonder about the meaning of being a toy. - Gabby Gabby reveals that Harmony has always wanted a Gabby Gabby doll. Thus, it is revealed that Gabby Gabby believes that it is her purpose to be there for Harmony no matter what. This causes Forky to question his suicidal tendencies entirely and eventually accept his calling as a toy. - The sheep find the other toys and take them to reunite with Woody. They avoid being seen and strapped. - Bonnie and her parents begin searching for the toys. - Gabby Gabby threatens Forky directly, forcing Woody to surrender. Harmony has the voicebox installed into her. However, Harmony rejects her when Woody's voice plays. - Gabby Gabby is absolutely crushed by Harmony's rejection, but Jessie encourages her to join them upon remembering her time isolated from the world. - Rex, Trixie, and a few other toys stay behind in an attempt to pop the tires to buy time, but it has little to no success. - Bo attempts to defeat Gabby Gabby to avenge her friends, but Woody stops her. - The toys regroup at the carousel, but several street cats catch them. In a recreation of the chase scene at the end of the first Toy Story, they finally make it back to the trailer. Duke Caboom is alive and creates another distraction for the group, trapping the cats. Buzz flies Forky to the trailer as Woody and Jessie watch in pride. - Bo offers Woody to join her, but Woody refuses, remembering his promise to Andy and Buzz. However, a few of the toys, including Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, join her and Duke. Woody and Bo ride away from one another. Bo reflects on the days with Andy and Molly as Woody and Buzz say, "To infinity and beyond, old timer..." Meanwhile, Bo says, "So long, move buddy..." - Gabby Gabby ventures on her own, determined to find her own destiny. - In a post-credits scene, Gabby Gabby is donated to Sunnyside at the end, where she meets the other toys there. - In another post-credits scene, Duke and Bo run into Utility Belt Buzz, a few new toys, and a modified Zurg, who tells them that they have a situation. - In one last post-credits scene, a man finds Woody's voicebox, who laughs nervously yet sadistically upon listening to it. The man is revealed to be Sid Phillips. Please let me know how this sounds! I will happily listen to any criticisms! Let me know if you want to hear my ideas for Toy Story 5 and 6!

Hey, a newcomer here because KZbin recommended me this video. Only saw Toy Story 4 once back when it released in theaters & have tried hard to forget it even existed, unsuccessfully as I still remember the main plotpoints & the ending. Not because I hated it (except the ending) but because I only thought it was an ok movie which is pretty bad for Toy Story & because it destroyed TS3's ending which was perfect....although it seems that this movie did more damage than that. Was hesitant about the video length and almost bailed when finding out there were several more at around the same length, but decided to give this one a watch first. Needed to see if there was just _that_ much to say about the movie or if you repeated every sentence 5 different ways to stretch the video length. While I'm not sure how effective it would be with this long of a video, I've seen multiple channels where the person repeats information specifically to make it longer for ad revenue. Only about 20 minutes in and the amount of effort put in the editing is insane. So many 2-second clips used to accurately express your emotions, it's a nice change of pace to other video-breakdowns/reviews even if there's a lot of repeats. Also wow, based off how badly the flashback scene is, I think I can safely say that there really is a lot to say about this movie and you're not just stretching things out. You've clearly done your homework and have ironed out your script to make sure everything you say makes sense and pulling references to various parts of the franchise to backup your arguments....apparently more than this movie's writers did. Anyways, I'll be watching this series in pieces during my freetime. Hope you're having a nice day.

There is one point with which I disagree, and that's with Jesse's claustrophobia. Actual fears like that don't just go away, and in the short where she "conquers" her fear, she gets brave enough to focus on her goal rather than her fears. However, in the closet scene (ignoring that spaces prior to this moment in 4 had to be significantly smaller to trigger her claustrophobia), she has no goal to distract her, and her fear appears to be more manageable than in previous movies. I can say from experience that while I've mostly conquered by arachnophobia, it's still there. It's just much more manageable and the unreasonable fear doesn't dominate my thoughts like it used to. This was a scene in the movie I had no problem with. Everything else you said was right, though.

5:50 Simply because he could have picked it up along with the other toys, and it fell without Andy noticing, but Woody and the others did. 6:00 Andy was able to go out to play without the remote control, it doesn't mean that if RC doesn't have control of him, Andy isn't interested in him. 6:10 That's just to get the atmosphere into the movie, giving you the first look in it at Bo Peep, who was the reason why this movie existed. 8:00 You don't seem to know that in the Boom Kids Toy Story comics, there were times where Bo's personality seemed a bit more "tough" and not as picky at times. Nor have you started to reflect that Bo's character could have changed a little more in the 3-4 years that have passed since the end of Toy Story 2, since she acquired more leadership experience thanks to the fact that she was the leader of the Molly's room. She's not the one to rescue RC anyway, she supports Woody by fixing his hat and smiling at him, and then holds up the monkeys with her cane. It's also not like at that moment she had jumped in with Woody to rescue RC. 8:50 Amazing! You claim to be a fan of Toy Story and you don't know why Toy Story 4 existed. Didn't you realize what happened from 2010 to 2013 regarding the interest in Bo Peep? 10:50 There were originally going to be a lot more scenes set at Andy's house that happened before Toy Story 3, sadly they only kept this opening scene. So the reason this scene is a "flashback" is not because of anything you're saying. 15:13 Is that really just why you say he put a hole in Toy Story 3? Like all children, Molly was able to donate her toys little by little as she grew older and one of her last toys was Barbie Great Shape, she didn't necessarily have to get rid of all three Barbies at the same time. 19:17 The red monkeys have a life of their own, and at that point in the story there are many more toys in Andy's room, they were able to walk by themselves from Andy's room to Molly's room and pile up one by one quickly. Nor is it necessarily necessary that they had to bring the barrel along with them. 22:39 The reason Slinky stopped stretching and went back to the truck in the first movie, is because they were on the street with a moving truck, in this scene they are in a fixed place that is not moving. 31:18 She was ALWAYS Molly's doll, Andy only took her to play with. She appeared together with the others because in the first movie both children's rooms were joined, and later because she simply walked from room to room (just as shown in Toy Story 2) also the Troll doll, Dolly, Duckie and Teddy were toys from Molly. 31:38 Apparently you don't understand the universe of these toys, they are willing to live this kind of thing, they are toys and they have to be prepared for when those moments may occur, they know that at a given moment they could not say goodbye to everyone even if they they would like 32:18 There should have been at least one more scene, before Bo was Sold, precisely to give Woody and Bo's relationship more development, because after the first movie Bo Matured, and after the second movie once Woody was back at Andy's house, he matured. And in those three to four years that they spent within the fiction of the story, their relationship matured more and more. To the point that when Buzz asks Slinky where Woody is, he is inviting them to look at the yard as if he had partly understood the reason why Woody ran so quickly there, even if he hadn't come back. to leave in the box along with Bo. But finally Woody didn't go with Bo at that moment, because he had Andy, he had a child who was waiting for him and needed him, he had a life purpose to fulfill. 47:36 Are you seriously saying that Jessie was killed off in this movie just because she showed a little claustrophobia in the scene where they're in the closet? she's no big deal by God. But if you insist that this is silly, it is worth reviewing that in Toy Story 3 there is a much more direct incongruity in this regard: Jessie is perfectly normal when they are in the toy chest where Mr. Shark was, and later when they are in the garbage bag has a slight bout of claustrophobia; when both scenes deal with reduced and enclosed spaces. 55:30 Buzz just noticed that Woody was a little nervous and it was just a light casual chat, it's obvious that this conversation is very fast and without depth between the two. Moments later they show that the reason for Woody's nervousness is because he hadn't played with him days before. 57:30 Bonnie never had Woody as her favorite toy, the only thing close to that is what was seen in Toy Story 3, but then you don't see any of that. She has more interest in Buzz, Rex, Jessie and whoever was originally her playthings. With Woody she only plays at the beginning of Toy Story that time forgotten, and at the end of this special she drags him on the floor, she played with him a bit but never became her darling. 59:20 Old Timer mentions that it is the third time THAT WEEK that Woody has not been chosen to play. He does not mean that it was only those three days.
