Imagine if games do increase from $70 to $90 around next generation. Alot of people are going to be more reserved than they already are now. People don't want to take risk with their money towards something that looks unappealing. People on twitter will make up excuses or blame others but this fact will never change, Games are expensive and there's far more of the average person that can only afford but so many games a year compared to someone who whales and plays the same game over and over. The gaming industry needs the average person and many don't seem to see that. Thus the industry is going to continue to take blows if they can't get things sorted out on what the majority wants or what appeals to most gamers.

Here's my pitch, Star Wars Jedi Killer. You start off as a mercenary and painstakingly manage to off a Jedi in an important mission and snatch it's lightsaber and are given the nickname Jedi Killer, from there you are given contracts that puts you against different colors and types or lightsaber, which you change into to change your movesets. I could easily see this as a Grievous campaign and his ascension into the Dark Side ranks, having a rage mode that allows him to wield 4 lightsabers for a short duration.
