@@theoddegg8462well it’s said to have cost at least 2billion to make the game, marketing included. Scheduling dates, follow up interviews and just the whole marketing schedule was disrupted. That might have cost the company a pretty penny. Don’t know if it warranted life sentence, but I guess the message was don’t screw with a multi billion dollar project.

​@theoddegg8462 It's because his autism was so severe he did not understand at all that what he did was wrong. He stated repeatedly the moment he got out of jail he'd immediately go back to hacking. That's why the judge sentenced him to a mental institution for life, so he could get treatment and hopefully learn right from wrong (or least enough to not be so honest in open court about your future intentions).
