How Usable is the Sequoia 3rd Row Seat? | Will it fit an Adult?

I have 5 kids; with no vehicles on lots, your video was very helpful. Disappointed to see a company like Toyota not tailoring the vehicle to large families (cargo and 3rd row seats).

The third row floats in order to give passengers in the third row more room and a more comfortable riding experience. When was the last time you stacked cargo to the very roof of your full sized SUV?

@@dug4895 The simple answer; every time we go anywhere as a family... I have a 7 person very active family. It is unacceptable that a 7+ capacity SUV could not fit cargo for a day at the beach, or a family hike, or just taking the kids to school... forget going on vacation or bringing the dog along, etc... Bad design, inside and out. I'll stick with my Honda for 50% less money and better MPG.

Great video! Totally agree with how much space is loss due to the solid rear axel and hybrid battery. However, for my situation I keep my 3rd row seats down about 99% of the time and prefers solid axel and battery placement over alternatives. I think they should have made the 3rd row removable for those that don’t really have a use for them.

80+ k and no fold flat cargo area? What a major major flaw! Would literally not even consider it. What a $hit show the cargo area is!

There is a third row, is it useful yes, depending on your lifestyle. If this is your second or third vehicle and you wanna just take it camping, all day long. If this is going to be your family of 5 vehicle well you might want to test drive it with everyone in there to include car seats, if used. If you are single and just like the look, style and brand this will work.

Truly confused by these 3 row SUVs where the 3rd row forces you to chose between cargo capacity in the “boot” and seating useability/comfort. A minivan seems to solve that issue.
