That's why he was so interested in spider gwens symbiote and carnage ran into him in another reality and laughed bc he couldn't control him Edit: though he does have some multiversal powers, as Eddie as the king in black was able to subvert a time travel barrier by switching to a different dimension first then moving through time and jumping back

@@colejones8832 as with Kathleen Kennedy Amy Pascal does not understand the characters or the story lines and what the fans actually like about them and so they make these ridiculous changes to lore or to canon that make absolutely no sense and turn people completely off. On top of that, if they can do anything to toss a wrench into Feige's plans in any way, Sony will do so.

I’m pretty sure we can have it all in Spider-Man 4, act 1 regular Peter going thru his troubles being poor, cleaning up the streets of NY being depressed because nobody knows him, act 2 Peter finds the black suit and starts having visions of the multiverse and becoming darker, act 3 he swept into the multiverse and meeting everyone from the spider verse and understanding he’s not alone big fight with multiple symbiotic enemies with the help of new friends…. End movie on cliffhanger….. secret wars

If Spider-Man 4 doesn’t take place on Battleworld, I agree with this premise. I just think instead of him getting the suit that late into the film, he’d have to find a way to take it off. I’d like to see Kingpin be its first antagonistic host in the main MCU. Then towards the end of the film, Knull (if Sony and Marvel are going in this direction) could appear to regather the symbiote. Thus in turn causing another wall to break, leading to an incursion.

I saw the script. It's actually Knull's movie. Everything with Eddie from the trailers takes place in the first 10 minutes. Every after that is Knull wiping out the Sony Universe. It then ends with Knull looking at the camera as he says it's Knulling time and jumps to Batteworld. 😂😂😂😂

I think at the end of Venom 3, due to Venom's connection to the hivemind, and the emphasis of Venom being with Eddie "till the end", eddie brock will die, and maybe since the necro sword was the first symbiote made by knull, when knull is defeated, the necro sword in his universe would connect/sync up to the one in the MCU, and the venom symbiote will end up in the MCU, but eddie brock will die in his own universe. Then venom will go looking for the MCU's eddie brock, and bump into tom holland's spiderman in the next movie. Would love to see tom holland using the black suit.

12:13 From the perspective of potential gains for Sony. building up their Spider owned characters through Marvel gives them more selling power. Honestly, I don't think Disney Studios can handle undertaking more and should buy the rights for creative control but still utilize Sonys studio resources. The games by themselves show Sonys storytelling potential and those games are amazing... They even included Avengers tower. not that the game rights prove anything but I do believe they foreshadow a more integrated game universe. I'd love a universe where all the moves and unlock abilities for spiderman are present but you could also do the same for Tony and other characters. Like the Lego game but SPIDER-MAN 2 level of awesome. Some recent moves by Sony indicate to me they are trying to sweeten their payout by utilizing characters like Rhino in Kraven. from what I understand this has made issues for Marvel after No Way Home tease of Rhino. Though I personally believe it's fabricated hype. I feel like I'm watching a game of trading and purchasing tactics take place utilizing hype and misdirection to avoid insider trading claims. For me it's all seems like the studios are playing psychological games in the media utilizing fan response as the measure of what their property is worth. KFAB WWF tactics. I think within Marvels concept art for the secret wars attraction are potentially bringing in Animated characters to fight as a mixed medium. I think this allows an opportunity for Miles Morales from Sony to have a central story in Marvels Secret Wars. Like Donald Glover Prowler appearance in Across the Spiderverse as well as in Homecoming.

The “street level” Spider-Man would work much better as a series, with potential team ups with Daredevil and Cage and Jennifer Jones. Unfortunately, SONY’s short sightedness wouldn’t allow it. As you guys pointed out, license Spidey back to Marvel and rake in the profits. Then you could have multiverse Spidey for the big budget movies, and a street level saga concurrently. It’s a pipe dream though

I didn't watch Helstrom (nor do I want to, theme too dark for me) and the other Hulu shows from animation, but I suppose everything is technically multiverse from all Marvel media outside of the comics for this reference. I've seen everything on your list including the lightly connected shows like Runaways, Cloak&Dagger, Defenders saga, one-shots, abc shows too. I think we all just want amazing cameos that fit the character and storytelling, especially when it comes to the faceoff with Dr. Doom in Secret Wars. Im totally on board to totally reboot after that movie and allow all characters to share a singular universe following that. New actors, some old actors if there young enough and just make it all work! Something like how DC's new universe is going to operate. But this time, we get the well deserved finale to the MCU we know and love unlike the DCEU's terrible ending lol.

Spider Gwen is the hail mary play that Sony will save to play towards their efforts experimenting with the villain rogues gallery, when they are ready to basically dissolve into the MCU and sit back and collect royalty payments.

Klintar means prison in the symbiote language. I think there was 3 pieces of venom spread out. Thor killed one that was in form of a dragon-eddie absorbs it and gets his wings.

I can see Topher Grace's Venom being in Secret Wars fighting the heroes. Specifically Tom Hardy's Venom and that will be the over promoted same vs same flight.

15:10... MCU needs their own Doc Ock and their own Venom. If you take Tom Hardy's Venom and put him into the MCU then you're basically going to be paying Tom Hardy for a voice over role (because Tom Hardy voices the Venom character as well as playing Eddie Brock). I wouldn't be averse to that, but fans shouldn't expect to see Tom Hardy in the movie at all. It'd be James Earl Jones and Vader all over again. But either it'll have to be the Venom symbiote from the MCU universe OR they'll have to bring Venom over from the Sony universe to the 616 (and keep him there following Secret Wars so that there are no future incursions).

I want to see the spider verse live. Old spidermen, both venoms. The other Sony antiheroes they set up. All in a big battle cross over with the fox verse and the MCU. They could even convert the cartoon universes into live action and bring it into a huge 4 way battle for the 1 universe

If Sony and/or Marvel were smarter, we would end up with a version of Miles that gets his cloaking and venom blasts from RiRi Williams, who has to help him get the symbiote suit off off of him, but who also masters the art of subjugating the suit to set up for Thunderbolt Ross to eventually create a version of Agent Anti-Venom using Flash Thompson (in a different film or films). I think it should start off somewhere in the animated Spider-verse with Miles in the place of Peter fighting alongside Starfire and Iceman so that Miles can lead to them being pulled into the live action world where Monica is there with Beast, then use a character like Cloak or Parker Robbins (or half a dozen other options) to get Miles to the 616 so he can meet RiRi. I think the street level story could be set up in the background using figures like Negative Man and The Hood to connect back to Kingpin.

Since MCU Spider-Man 4 is supposed to be 50% street level 50% multiverse, then I just hope that they don't have Tom Holland's Spider-Man encounter the symbiote when Secret Wars would be immediately after that. At least keep the suspense there and have all three Spider-Men wear the symbiote just to maximize it.

The MCU didn’t reinvent Dr. octopus or the green goblin because it wasn’t the MCUs villains. The whole point in NWH was that villains from other universes came into earth 616. In my opinion, due to the ending of NWH, they are in a perfect spot to turn Ned into the Hob Goblin. Peter will have the moral Dilemma of fighting this villain once he finds out it’s his old best friend.

Knull needs to track down Venom to have a means of retrieving the Necrosword which is lost and broken in the 616. Venom flees his world to arrive in the 616. Knull follows. The Fantastic Four flees the destruction of their world to arrive in the 616. Galactus follows. Galactus seeks to consume Franklin's power. Knull and Galactus arrive at the same time and face off as the survivors of dead universes. As Knull and Galactus fight Doom attacks them as they are fighting and weakened. Doom absorbs their power using the Necrosword and/or using adamantium/vibranium-enhanced Amor.
