Even if that was true that doesn't change the fact that it happened nor that it's fairly consistent with Knull's lore. Knull is tiers above celestials, who themselves tend to be tiers above skyfathers, who tend to be tiers above characters like Thanos. Sentry most of the time typically is comparable to people like non-skyfather Thor or world war hulk. We'd have to exclusively use Sentry's highest ended feats (many of which are considered massive outliers) just to get him anywhere near Knull.

Sure Knull has more power at his disposal than Base Thanos but if these 2 were to fight Thanos would probably figure out a way to take Knulls power and use it against him.
