I did this repair to my moms van. I didn’t have a heat gun so I used a pot of boiling water. You make it look easy. It was kinda tricky but a money saver.

I appreciate this video, we were able to "fix" my Sequoia that had some damage in the exact location. We used a hairdryer and the biggest dents came out. There's still some fine ripples. It looks much better, nothing like you're of course but as noobs I am satisfied. Now for some touch up paint!😊 Thanks much.

my father has been welding plastics for 25 years and he also did such repairs, but not so precisely, bravo you :)

That’s pretty amazing to hear that he was successful at welding plastics. I always have been interested in learning that process. Thanks for stopping by to check this out!

Pushing them out isn’t too bad. It’s the finesse involved in bringing the plastics back to as close as we can using the paintless method. Thank you for stopping by to check the video out, Brandon!

Bumpers come out very easy if you know what you're doing and know where to start at on the dent
@cfldentrepair3 жыл бұрын
The bulk of the damage does come out fairly easy, but it’s the finesse in the end it takes the skill. Thanks for commenting.

Had this exact damage on my silver tacoma. Repair shop quoted me $2000 for a “repair”- more like buying new parts and replacing everything. Totally unnecessary. Took me about 30 minutes and a heat gun to fix myself. Please REPAIR not REPLACE, everyone!!

Wow. Didn't know u could also plastic bumper repair. Nice. I like metal bumpers better. The new Tundra appears to have plastic bumpers. Seems like even trucks are going to plastic front and rear bumpers.

Haven’t repaired many metal bumpers successfully with the exception of a few over the years. Would love to see a video of this process. Thanks fir stopping by and checking the video out, Mike!

@@cfldentrepair thank you so much for your video. After I posted, I went on your website and realized you’re in Florida. Thanks to your video, I googled and found a similar company in Los Angeles area who does what you do. They came and helped me out with my car dent. Thank you and all others who help people without trying to rob them unnecessarily. I paid $170 and although the result isn’t 100% perfect, it’s an 80% improvement and for now I’m happy!
