The stronger attacks are a double-edge sword: While Doc gains stronger Knockback to take stocks, that also hurts his combo game. You can see this with Roy and Marth having different combos than Chrom and Lucina mainly because of the differences between Sour/Sweetspot Vs. Consistency. Ergo, it doesnt make any sense to punish Dr. Mario on top of that with mobility nerfs. Sure, a worse Up B balances out the Move itself on a vacuum, but the slower ground and air speed just hurts him too much to be any fun. Buff those and you actually get an alternative to Mario's play style in line with the Roy/Chrom differences.

This is not true at all actually. They can introduce higher knockback at only high percents to not sacrafice combos.

@@Doberbull They could also give Dr. Mario a gun that instant kills. Sarcasm aside, my comparison with Roy/Chrom is to show what they could do for Doc and Mario: Doc gains stronger knockback and less combos, Mario keeps the combos. Balance things out, kid. You dont want to give Dr. Mario more combos than Mario cause then it's not Doc.

@Swagno Nitram Saying Doc would be a straight up "upgrade" from Mario is like saying Chrom is a straight up upgrade from Roy. Both have their niches, with some cool things to both characters (like how Pit is used when you need easier to angle arrows or choosing Dark Pit for the sideways kill with the electro-arm) Your comparison with "Back in melee" falls apart when you realize that Mario back then wasnt as viable as Ultimate Mario too

@Swagno Nitram Good thing that Mario has completely different tools like a better recovery UpB, a major benefit of using platforms for vertical combos and FLUDD, basically bringing them close to a Roy/Chrom situation that it isnt inherently "free" to say one is superior to the other, but more so a case of benefits depending on match up or Stage. Thanks for confirming what i just said.

This is the best buff they could give dr Mario, and the one that makes the most sense to me. At the moment, how slow he is is excessive.

This and make him actionable out of his down b tornado faster are the 2 that will literally fix the character. It's not even difficult fixes either, Nintendo just doesn't want to do it sadly.

yep doc pills are better then mario's fireballs cuz more damage, can mess up some character recovery, and more importantly it's a great combo starter

@@lazlo_bananas8285 I don't mind his recovery being bad. It's the lack of speed that makes it bad. Even Little Mac, who has a mediocre recovery, has the 12th fastest air speed and 3rd fastest run speed in the entire game, which gives him solely horizontal recovery while having weak vertical recovery.

@@tinyt.w.i.m7291 I've also played doc for years but I don't actually like the stethoscope because I feel like his grab would be too laggy and his slow movement speed would still make him easy to edge guard unless he's in range for an up b or tether. I think he should get a tornado buff making it faster, travel further vertically and horizontally. This would make him dangerous to edge guard cause he can recover from further and the increased tornado speed would make it easier to cross-up offstage for early kills.

I'm also a person who was played Doc for years ever since Smash 4 3DS. I think it's a great idea, but his moves are already laggy enough as it is, and making his grab slower wouldn't help. My idea for the grab is that it's range-based. If someone is close to you, he'll do he same grab as Mario. But if someone is further away or nobody is there, he does the stethoscope tether grab instead. But keep the Zair and Edge grab with it the same.

Maybe he could have peach’s turnips, but instead pills that heal himself and others. There could also be the change of pulling a high healing item like a tomato or heart. Edit: Here’s Another Idea: Maybe the pills can also act like Shulk’s Monado Arts. Red = Smash&Buster, Blue = Speed&Jump, Yellow = Shield.

What, Dr. Mario is always as heavy as Mario. Even in Melee. But yeah, a higher Air speed would be great. Able to follow up with pills better. Combo with your horizontal launching up air.

They should replace his side b with a move that can give him a random buff like health, speed, and jump height and he could do it by eating a pill. I think it would be fitting and would benefit him greatly as long as they are in large percentages like 33% chance to get each to make it a viable move.

I picture it like Marth and Roy's side-B, with a stethoscope swing, a doc jacket flair, then a three-way directional output with up being another jump, down being a pill heal, and side being an electrifying pill that can stun

I am also gonna add one here. Make Doc's cape push him back a bit if you hold the b button while midair. That way, you can b-reverse with it and gain more horizontal speed, improving his "cape-abilities" offstage. This can also serve as a parallel to Mario's cape, where instead of a stalling feint, it's a horizontal one. If you just tap the b button, it works as it does now, helping yyou properly position yourself against projectiles offstage.

i was hoping this seriously was like: fixing melee characters. this is just that but extremely watered down. *all they do is tell you:* oh this is where they came from, this is whats wrong with them, this character is bad, just in case you werent sure. now this is whats bad with them. just in case you diddnt know they were bad, now we asked 3 random people that know nothing about the game how they would make this better. now lets just ignore everything and im gonna just put my imput. did i tell you they were bad? yeah they are bad and you cant do anything about it. now let me talk about the same issue for 5 min. okay now someone who actually knows something bout the games turn. wow, thats some good imput. now lets compare this bad character to these high tiers. I wanna see Kirby next! And for my personal suggestion, I'd say simply buff his air speed significantly, to at least be not garbage, about on par with Ivysaur or so. As it stands, his abysmal air speed pairs poorly with his other weaknesses, such as being light and floaty. It also criminally undermines one of his strengths, being a small target, as in practice he's still easy to hit and combo due to his lack of escape options. Not only would better air speed give him better opportunities to approach and win neutral, but it would greatly help him overcome his disadvantage state. And while we're at it, buff his ground speed just sliiightly (while it's not great, it doesn't hurt him as much as his air speed). Other idea, decrease the startup of Kirby's down B, and it we're feeling really bold, when he exits his stone state, have little pebbles emerge that deal slight damage and knockback (similar to Kirby 64). This would give Kirby a useful but not overpowered option to mix up his landing. I feel changes like these would go a long way in making Kirby a solid viable mid-tier without sacrificing the beginner accessibility aspect core to his character (and these two things should NOT be mutually exclusive).

@@SleepyBrady Yeah personally I've been either a Kirby main or at least used Kirby a lot since the original N64 Smash. Whenever I try to pick up Kirby in Ultimate, I have fun with him until I get competitive, then I have horrifying flashbacks of the Melee days (even back then it was apparent I was at a disadvantage for using Kirby).

Ok, if we want to dive deep into the lore of ideas for changes, I think he should get a 3rd ARM which is an ARMS ARM (which would work like Min Mins) because Dr. Coyle, who has the ability to gain a 3rd ARM went to medical school with Doc.

Same! I usually use Doc instead of Mario because I love this moveset more. OG Mario's moveset in Melee was just fine and adding FLUDD in Brawl was cool and all but having his down air be the tornado just doesn't feel right to me. Overall I think Doc is balanced the way he is but maybe giving him back his Melee speeds (even altered so that he's faster than he is now) would be interesting but if no changes happen, I'm cool with it.

I main doc, I enjoy how he is in Ultimate rn. I know he’s low tier but he has deadly bread and butter combos. And if done properly, can kill at 40-60 with a grab. All said and done, I like how he currently is now.

Give him a stethoscope as a tether and grab. Also instead of side b being a reflector, give him a long ranged syringe attack with a powerful needle that breaks shields.

Robin is the character I want to see fixed the most. The adjustments I would make to make Robin more viable would be: •Increase run speed to the standard average. •Missed Levin Sword strikes should only consume half the stamina as a hit. Holding the A button should also be able equip a sheathed Levin Sword if the Bronze Sword is active so that simply reactivating it doesn't consume stamina. •Thunder tome charging NEEDS a midair cancel. Arcthunder should also have reflector properties so Robin can punish other zoners that have unlimited projectiles. •Arcfire should have a larger hitbox. Many smaller characters can dodge by simply standing close to Robin, not even right next to him/her. •Nosferatu should also have a larger hitbox or have a vortex to pull opponents into it. The fact that you have to literally be right next to your opponent to use it makes it really hard to justify using in most circumstances. Even a few of these buffs would probably be able to move Robin up the tier list. As as the most unique FE character players shouldn't be punished for not using a generic swordie.

Doc Main here IMO Doc doesn't actually need to be good, but there are a few things that could have been chenged without altering his character design - Reduce endlag in tornado, buffs recovery distance and makes it less exploitable - Cape stalling, good for mix-ups and recovering, also make it active for a few frames more That's it

My QOTD before watching: Please give this man some air speed. Or like slightly better run speed. Something to let him catch people and get in and out of neutral even slightly better. After watching: Oh yeah an initial dash buff would be great! I want to see what people say for Dedede. Personally I think all he really needs is better air acceleration so his multiple jumps go places. This helps his advantage, helps his neutral, helps his offstage game, and massively buffs his disadvantage without touching anything else simply by adding mixups to how he would move in those situation in conjunction with his many jumps.

A small change I would make to doc is changing his down throw to bury the opponent in the ground for a short time, that way it can be comboed into his up-b and give him another super consistent way to get k.o's , I also really like the tether idea for him it would help him allot

I think we could buff Robin by increasing damage and knockback on his/her bronze sword, slightly faster running speed, and decrease the cost of using rapid jab (when he uses it, it effects his elwind tome and uses more of it than his up b). If we could also give his Up-b a little more height, I think we're golden.

I think that Doc should have more air speed. With mario’s combos requiring vertically, it would be cool if doc has horizontal combos with up air strings. That would mean that his up air should have more hit stun. I’d also like his down special to clip onto the ledge immediately after it finishes

what i would do is i would increase down b’s ability to rise, especially off of a jump, even just by a slight amount, thus would help immensely in his vertical recovery and now he doesn’t die from neutral air dodge at ledge height

Dr. Mario would be so much better if they would 1. Give him more air speed. His recovery would improve sooo much from this, and his combo game would too. 2. Buff his pills. They’re the iconic part of Dr. Mario, and if they were the main tool he used, it would be pretty cool. Just make the Doc have less lag after shooting it so that you can follow up easier and hit those pill confirms more consistently. 3. They need to reduce the end lag of his down B. It would increase his recovery and would make it a cool mix up in neutral

Make it to where if he holds B he can eat a Megavitamin instead of throwing it, giving him Deep Breathing like Buffs which is fitting because his profession is in Health and Wellness just like Wii Fit.

All I think he needs is Less knockback, but more hit stun on dash attack and up tilt. Also a bit less end lag on down b because a higher up b means it will be easier to punish

My idea of fixing doc to make him better is just giving less end lag during aerial tornado so you dont lose as much air while trying to recover with it. boom hes fixed now

If you made Dr. Mario’s pills hit box come out faster, neutral b could become a decent aerial. Also make his forward air spike. Lastly, make his down air have more shield stun so doc might have a chance of breaking an opponents shield. These wouldn’t skyrocket Dr. Mario’s viability, but they’d certainly make him at least somewhat better.

As a doc player, yes his recovery is rough, but people really underestimate how good tornado mashing is, especially off stage. I’ve been playing Doc since smash 4. Doc is slower, yes, but he’s meant to be played slower and use aggressive plays as mix-ups. I prefer him over Mario. Also, I wish pills were the quick, horizontal shooting pills he had as a custom in smash 4. That drastically boosted his stage control options in neutral.

I want my boi incineroar fixed. When he rises with up-b, he should have magnet hands and connect more reliably. Him decending with up-b should extend more and his ground speed should be faster with the cost of revenge being a little weaker.

My biggest gripe with him will always be that recovery of his. I feel that if they buffed his second jump to go higher similar to falco’s second jump being much better than fox’s. And or change his air speed to be much better. His combos are fun and his damage output is great along with having decent kill options. He just needs a lot of help off stage lol offensively and defensively.

Talk about Luigi next only if his poultergust was an actual tether grab and his down-b had vertical and horizontal recovery and less end lag and his side-b also had less end lag in the air and while landing with it.

how would I fix doc? easy. give him mario's cape jump ( aka mario goes up a little when he uses cape in mid air the first time) and make his up b go a little higher. By changing some angles on his attacks he could go from being a clunky heavy hitter that tries to combo to a stronger version of mario that lacks speed

Just make it easy and give the air tornado not have so much end lag, so it's a boost to the recovery rather than just a staling option. Make it so it refreshes when hit, like most specials and you'd buff the recovery a lot since he could contest aggressive approaches a lot better and get more distance. Buff the Up B to go the same distance as Mario's and make his cape also stall. He'd still have a bad recovery due to the low air speed but it wouldn't be the worst in the game.

Normally I don’t have an issue with clones but Dr. Mario feels so forced in since he’s not an echo or an alt but he’s basically just Mario in a different costume and the only moves that represent his character is his Side and Neutral B so I’m thinking it’d be cool to have him feel like a legit doctor and have more of a doctor play style that would be very unique. His Up B he’d lunge upward with a poisonous needle and it deals some damage/launch and poisons the opponent for a little bit. On ground it won’t move just like Link’s Up B but you can aim it. His Down B an X-Ray pops in front of him that inverts their colors like Luigi’s Brawl Final Smash while Dr. Mario swirls around them fastly while wrapping them around in a cast strangling them to the point where they explode (not actually KOing them) and they reappear flying up. Maybe the Side and Down B should be switched around Also stethoscope grab

Give doc the ability to cancel tornado, that way he doesnt lose as much height when revovering and he can maybe combo out of it

though it wouldn't affect his competitive staus, it would up his personality, I think his Final Smash should be called Surgical Procedure, The doctor does a command grab, if it hits, the opponent is slammed into a Medical Bed, then Doc would pull out his pills and scalpel, and start working on the patient while concealed under cartoon smoke, at the end, the chair explodes and the opponent is launched

Love the stethoscope idea. I'd also replace his down tilt with the stethoscope. The move would function exactly the same, as a poke and combo tool, but it'd have more range and be disjointed. I'd also increase the hitstun on his pills so that they give him more time to land hits off of them or reposition.

There are a few reasons why I main dr Mario and a few others instead of Mario, 1. Down b, the biggest reason, because not only does it connect really well and is mobile, but it’s a recovery move, if someone charges a forward smash, BOOM, spam down b and dodge it, someone trying to fast fall down stage, BOOM, spam down b and kill confirm, are you vulnerable in a walljump pit in yoshi’s island and a few others, BOOM, quickly walljump and no cooldown while down b and walljumping 2. a lot of people can DI out of combos or atleast use a dumbass counter while using Mario, dr Mario has higher damage and knock back for most of his moves, including up tilt. 3. his back throw and up air can give good knock back and combining, not only does it ALSO do more knock back than Mario’s back throw, but he does more damage in general, so edge guarding- BOOM, down b, and a few hits with up throw and up air- BOOM, spam down b I think the only downside to dr Mario is obviously his recovery, which can be bad if fighting falcon and joker, but dr Mario is still my main because of these reasons, and mostly because of spam down b

Not many people know this, but 3 of Doc's aerials (N-air, Bair, and Up-air) have so little base knockback and hitstun that they're negative on hit at low percents unless he instantly lands or spaces them; the latter method usually doesn't start combos. Even his Up-Smash and Up-B are guilty of this and they don't even combo. It's not the biggest issue in the world but it's quite frustrating and adds on to his combos are so lacking. I suggest giving those moves more hitstun or altering their knockback so they combo into themselves much better. (Though I'd take more mobility if that was in the cards)

Please do Ganondorf! He has a lot of easy buff potential. He sucks because he can't approach and his recovery is limited. Why not fix that using a move that he uses in his most famous appearance? Give Ganon float, similar to Peach and Daisy's, stylized after his levitation in Ocarina of Time. Why? 1) It gives him timing mix-ups in neutral that he needs with his toolkit. He has fantastic aerials. He can't use them offensively because he has to overcommit when jumping, and cannot easily threaten to grab/side-b while in the air, and a cornered opponent can parry, roll, or just dash back and whiff punish any approaches. Float fixes this in several ways. It lets him stay in the air and bait out a defensive option from the opponent, which he can punish. Reacting to a landing aerial from a floating character is hard than reacting to a character jumping, then fastfalling with an aerial. He'll get parried much less too. And on top of that, he can float close to the ground, so that he can simultaneously threaten to side-b while also throwing out nairs. As a bonus, he can use the full hop float for maximum damage output exploit that Peach and Daisy use, so his already strong aerials are even stronger because they are not counted as short hopped while in the float animation. 2) It helps his recovery a lot, possibly making him infuriating to edgeguard, because if you try to challenge him off stage with a stock deficit and he just, floats away, and you miss an aerial, you are probably dying to side-b. Because of this I think the float would need to be less lengthy than Peach and Daisy's, and possibly a little bit slower in air speed. 3) It improves his already very strong anti-air game and does not clash with his existing moveset. He will still want to be on the ground to be able to use his down-b to cover distance, and he will mostly kill with grounded side-b confirms or ftilt as usual. Float gives him that extra thing he needs without it being as ridiculously overpowering as Peach and Daisy's. His ledgetrapping also goes from scary to terrifying. As an additional buff, I'd give his jab a reflector attribute. I mean, the climactic battle with him in OoT is basically a tennis match, and it seems wrong that he can't play tennis in ult, especially when he is stylized after the OoT version of the character. If you wanted to go the extra distance, his jab could even launch the glowing energy ball if you press B towards the end of the jab animation. This would give Ganon a projectile, which I don't think he needs, especially with float and a reflector, but it would be a fun little mechanic to increase his options during gameplay. It would have to be pretty weak to ensure that Ganon does not become a projectile based character, but maybe it could apply some pressure to shielding opponents. And naturally, it should be reflected by other characters' A button moves, with Ganon being able to reflect it yet again with his neutrals, etc. Tennis.

It's unfortunate, I'm fine with the idea of a slower but stronger Mario. The problem is that instead of moving at the pace of a slower character like Ivysaur, he moves at the pace of Ganon.

Where do we give suggestions to improve characters for you guys? I thought of ways to improve the Belmonts: 1) up his forward smash speed. It was slow to begin with b/c it has a long reach, but we have other characters now that go way beyond his range and are faster, even. 2) add angles to his forward tilt. Look, I get it's supposed to look like the original whip attack from his games, but you can't hit low characters and is detrimental. He doesn't have access to his crouching whip attack, so being able to angle it would help a lot. Or, make it possible to crouch whip with C Sick, or only allow his slide if you're pressing diagonally down. 3) make angling the whip easier. I don't understand why he has such a wind up for his aerials but you have to set the angle of the strike with the button press. I suggest inputting the angle on the wind up between a certain number of frames. 3) add angles to his up-air and up smash. Nothing too crazy, just a slight left or right angle. Include the same input buffer as mentioned on 2 here. 4) get rid of that ridiculous landing lag after landing a down air, and be able to act out of it slightly sooner. Avoid cheesing a stock Bayo-style, but make it faster in general after landing the hit. 5) speed up throwing out his projectiles a little bit. These are supposed to protect him right? They can't do that if they never come out. 6) With these other changes put into place, take out the ability for the ax to go through solid ground. Platforms sure, but it's a bit weird they do this in the first place. I always feel cheesey when I hit someone under the stage like that. If you MUST have a way to attack someone down there, maybe hold the B button to make the ax an item and it be able to be thrown like one so you can throw it straight down? I dunno about that one. 7) with 1 set in place, make the chain do less damage and make it more of a goal to use the tip. I know this is already how it is a bit, but make it more apparent. Heck, add some shield damage to that tip on all whip attacks, make it even more scary to approach! 8) lastly, make it so he can still choose to attack instead of tethering. Heck, give him a Zair you can angle or something, I dunno, but get rid of that defenselessness! ..... Offensivelessness? You know what I mean. I think his vulnerability of recovering show stay as is though, he's a wall-out character, so he should be punished for not being able to wall-out!

Here's what I would do to change Dr. Mario: 1: Give him the exact same air speed as normal Mario 2: Reduce the knockback of his air and tilt attacks to be exactly like normal Mario so that he can combo better but keep the damage output the same 3: Make his recovery go the exact same distance as normal Mario but keep the up b effect the same where he does a powerful punch and not just letting out a bunch of coins 4: Reduce the lag on his attacks and make them the exact same as Mario's 5: Make Dr. Mario's side special come out the exact same frames as Mario and let the side b have the exact same effect as normal Mario's where in the air it slightly tilts him forward 6: Keep down b and neutral b the same. Those moves are fine the way they are 7: Increase Dr. Mario's speed to be the exact same as Wolf's. Reason why is so that Dr. Mario doesn't become too overpowered but also do that Dr. Mario isn't super slow 8: Keep down air and forward air the same. We dont want to have an exact clone of Mario, we need to at least make them a little different 9: Dr. Mario's side taunt And down taunt can stay the same but give him a new up taunt 10: Since Dr. Mario will deal more damage than normal Mario and be able to do the exact same comboes as normal Mario, let Dr. Mario also be able to kill a little earlier than normal Mario And with that, those are the buffs I would give to Dr. Mario. With the buffs I gave him, he is basically the exact same as normal Mario with the only difference being his speed, damage output, the effect of the up b, the down and forward aerials, the effect of the pills, taunt animations, and what the down special is. Both Dr. Mario and normal Mario have the exact same air speed, go the exact same distance with up b, have the exact same side b, have the exact same up and back air, have the exact same tilt attacks, deal the exact same amount of knockback with most of their moves, and final smashes are basically the same (Dr. Mario's final smash would deal a little bit more damage and knockback compared to normal Mario). The only real significant reasons for choosing one mario over another would be for ground speed, damage output, and what type of down special you want (F.L.U.D.D. vs Dr. Tornado) everything else would be mostly the same with only a few differences here and there (most significantly that Dr. Mario would deal more damage than normal Mario but still be able to do the exact same comboes as normal Mario) With the buffs I would give Dr. Mario, do you think Dr. Mario would still be slightly worse Mario, slightly better than normal Mario, or be in the exact same tier and placement as normal Mario? I personally think with these buffs that Dr. Mario would be significantly better than normal Mario because both of these characters would be essentially the exact same but Dr. Mario would deal more damage and kill earlier than normal Mario. The only downside to Dr. Mario would be his ground speed but even then it would be buffed to be the same as Wolf's which isn't really that bad and this buffed Dr. Mario would have the same air speed as normal Mario so having bad ground speed wouldn't even be that bad. Also since I'm not changing anything about the pills, Dr. Mario would also be a lot better at camping which unfortunately would be a downside but it's whatever. Welp anyways, have a good day/night :)

The only reason why I played Doc over Mario was because of the Mario craze back in Smash 4. Plus,he's more powerful and has the best Back Throw to me. If you could buff him: -Make his Down B come out as fast as Bowser's Up B,give him armor early in the air too,and snap to ledge quicker -Let his Side-B propel him up a bit -Make his Up-B go slightly higher. -Increase air speed to compensate for Up-Air's angle and to help his recovery I don't know if they'll help too much,but whatever gets the guy out of the trash.

i personally want a better recover yes his combo game is like mid - tier but the damage it's gave i can down throw, two up air, two up tilts, another two up airs on dk and it does 70% i just done but i do have to mixed it up with different characters

Thematically, shouldn't Dr. Mario have one of the fastest fast-falls? Like pushing down in the puzzle game? I like the idea of Doc being a primarily vertical character wrt his original game. Maybe change his launch angles and improve his vertical speed and reach while keeping his horizontal speed gimped.

I would change his Down B, to him eating a vitamin and gaining a major boost to speed and jump height. It would unlock new combos and kill confirms.

sound's great but i love his down b it ain't bad it's can kill at 50% by down throw then down b off stage i would rather have his default speed and jump to be buff then to change down b but i wish down b had less start lag, end lag, and continue to move even when the spin stop

@@THEMADZGaming the problem with the tornado is that it really doesn't fit the character, and its essentially the same as Luigii's cyclone. Having him give himself a buff by eating a vitamin is more suitable for the character and having it at the expense of the tornado is more for balance.

I've found Dr. way more enjoyable to play than regular Mario in Ultimate because those satisfying beefy hits, plus it's nice having the tornado instead of Mario's FLUDD, but yeah it's such a pain dying from the slightest mistake off stage, or getting punished for whiffing basically anything. But then they go and make Banjo, it feels like such a blueprint for what Dr. Mario could be, they feel small and mobile but sturdy and make direct deliberate movements, have heavy dunks and throws, yet are more adapt at zoning and recovering. Why not at least let Dr. Mario Up-B and Down-B within the same jump? And how about being able to throw out at least two pills at a time?

I propose that Dr.Mario should have these changes: a bit less lag on his aerials and down special(with a damage and knockback nerf). Alongside a slightly different up b and less damaging pills. Down special should have 4-5 less frames of lag with an increase of distance slightly but deal less knockback and damage(3% less to be precise). Dr.Mario's aerials should have 1-2 less frames of landing lag and endlag. Plus, give doc a tether grab and recovery. Air speed and movement should be a bit faster because even though his airspeed and air mobility helps him for strings, it's the main reason why he gets juggled quite a lot along with a very predictable recovery. Dr.Mario's recovery *requires* constant mix-ups to be less predictable and even with mix-ups it doesn't cover enough distance as it should. His run speed should go from 1.397792 to 1.44 Pills should deal 6.0% of damage with less knockback. Upward special should be changed. This special move could have Dr.Mario be in an uppercut animation similar to Little Mac's K.O punch. This punch should be a three hit move that deals 10.1% of damage with each individual hit. The punch height could be 2/3rds of Luigi's Super Jump Punch but have the angle of the move be like Mario's super jump punch. Increase Dr.Mario's jump height or give him a third jump. The reason why I typed out these changes to Dr.Mario is because a Dr.Mario main can do the things that he or she needs to recover but the endlag on down b, pathetic height of up b, and his low jump height severly cripple his recovery overall. Doc's stubby range doesn't help him either but with these changes it would be justified.

Just make his down b have less endlag that way it would become a better vertical recovery move. also make his dash attack have slightly more hitstun and less knockback

Couldn't you see what some buffs would look like by using spirits? Like if you give doc 1 run speed and 1 jump speed spirit that would be cool to show off if you could play vs vanilla characters
