We were able to walk the torchlight procession about five years ago. Was fairly warm for Hogmanay In Edinburgh.

I went skiing for the 1st time last winter at the age of 49. The only thing I succeeded at was bruising my butt for 3 hours--hahaha. It si great to see that you were able to stay on you feet.

Looked really cold where you were snowboarding, I've only been skiing up at Donner Summit once and I can't say I had a great time,lol,long story. Edinburgh certainly looks like a lot of fun this time of year with all the pre New Years rituals and the big countdown together. Right ! then you ski til your nose, fingers and toes are numb, and the light is ending and your legs are wobbly, so you go to the Lodge and sit by the fire and have a wee dram, maybe some Swiss Fondue... and All is Right with The World 🎉
