I'm German and I was fascinated by birds even as a primary school student. In 2019 I was in Africa for the first time. Johannisburg - Kruger Park - Northern Drakensberg - Johannisburg. I found the birds singing in Africa incredibly beautiful and impressive. Much more intense than in Europe - or in Central America. These African songs are much louder, rougher, simple than most European birds. In the early morning it was a cacophony, but an intoxicatingly beautiful cacophony. Just now I was amazed at the singing of the Purple-crested Turaco. Unfortunately, I only saw the species once on the second day of the trip, outside of the Kruger Park. However, the series of calls reproduced here seems very familiar to me. I have probably heard the bird species regularly in the national park.

love it. I will watch them all. I bought bird recordings a few some years ago, the problem is that the recording tells you the name before you hear the sound, so, you can not easily test yourself. I like the way you did it. First the sound and then at the end, the name together with the drawing of each bird. Fantastic.
