Get Kader on. Would be cool to get an interview while he's still young, and then a follow up one when he's older

I think one problem with the industry is there's no middle class. Pros are either ballin or struggling and there doesn't seem to be much Inbetween

If anyone is willing to listen, I believe I have a way to help build an ecosystem that may be able to support a “Middle class Skater” as if it was normal. I’m nobody and executing as I can…if ya’ll are just willing to give me an hour. I think we can really make something awesome happen.

I think the problem is there's is too many brands and too many pros people have a lot of options nowadays in the late 80s-mid 90s most pros were making enough to live a comfortable life

Couple recommendations for people to interview (kader, curren caples, zion, another nora feature, Cj collins, TIAGO, ronnie sandoval, mark suciu) would be stoked to see any of these people on the nine club!

I personally want skateboarders it be able to have contracts and paychecks like the biggest athletes in the world because skaters are risking their bodies like that.

Well, skateboarding is not genereting as much money as basketball or soccer yet, so it just cant pay as much...

un petit nain rose venant d'Ouzbékistan true and the thing is certain sponsorships and corporations feed into those sports so for skaters to make that money, these companies would try to control the culture of competitive skateboarding which wouldn’t be good for the culture IMO.

Too much judgment towards anything you dont know... i feel that Roger. Theres always that sense of "who the fuck is this" when new people come around but people gotta open the doors and let everybody get theirs... even if it doesnt click with you, dont have to throw shade or negativity at them.

I was 18 when I first went to asr and had a ~15 min convo with Mike v talking about wanting to get into filming and at that point it 2ad my dream. I talked to a few other non pros and after I realized because I didn't film with anyone anymore since I had just moved to sd my chances were about 99% no. But asr was still fun as hell and was going to university there so it kinda turned out for the best.

have you guys considered reading ads or showing promo clips? it does seem goofy but it's a way to make more $ without putting a paywall up on your content, maybe there's a way to do it well

Skateboarding needs a league or union... any company(skate or not) using skateboarding to market they're brand have to pay a fee that goes into a fund and a board of directors decides the payout(benefits) to every skater thats been deemed professional past and present..

I’d really love to see Arron Kyro. He’s somewhat controversial in the industry because of Braille and Revive but at the same he does so much for it. And he’s gone from super core and leave to do what he’s doing now.

He’s a Scientologist who claims it makes him better. He donated over 750,000 dollars to Scientology and while one of the skaters for Braille had to sleep in warehouse
