ZB doesn't need a competitive scene, it's a casual mode and it should be kept that way. I don't want another fun mode ruined because of an incredibly quickly growing skill ceiling due to competitive events. Just try out ZB in the higher ranks and you'll see how unfun it can be that way.

At some point you just gotta get good at the game bro, either you get good at building so you can win in builds, or you get good at aiming and movement so you can win in no builds, all this "keep the mode casual" stuff is bs

I find that the developers are always trying to improve on Zero Build through the evolution of their map design. They don't have launchpads in the ZB lootpool cause they want launchpads to be put in effective spots. No shield bubbles cause they wanna make sure there's good cover across the whole map in interesting ways. I find that hurdling being removed due to bugs in CH4 really hampered a lot with their plans of good map design for places like Mega City and even places like Frenzy Fields, but they're constantly trying to improve. It's pretty sweet.

Split loot pools needs to happen for the sake of both modes, I wanna use traps in builds (thank god they’re finally back) and zero build just needs whole different balancing. There should also be rift encounters in zero build that spawns launchpad towers, rocks, rifts, just random ruins

I think that there should be some zero build exclusive map changes that can give people protection on the fly, since the fortnite maps are made with building in mind, there are lot's of open areas where you can be killed easily very quickly.

There's actually a very good reason why ZB doesn't have competitive. At higher levels of play, hackers can absolutely go off without much consequence, and have gone in and screwed over some in builds.

Zero build is great if the maps great and the mobility is simple. It's also more accessible. That being said chapter 4 map is so awful and sucks for zero and regular build. The og map plays well

In chapter 5, zero build actually sucks. The sniper meta and the riot shield ruins zero build, and I used to enjoy Zero build

Great video, I feel like zero build just isn’t competitive friendly, there’s too much item rng. When they tried items like the grapple glove and port a forts were absolute necessities for end circles

Building has way more people playing then no building how did it save the game there’s 4 million players playing no build if not around a million when no building gets 5000 to 8000
