Okay, I watched yours and many other's videos on LG IE error codes. One, I did find the metal screen behind the plastic screen on the water input valve. I inspected and tested the four way valve and the issue persisted. I do believe I have fixed it, for now. I found the detergent, softener and water dispenser holes and passages were clogged with minerals. I cleaned it out and soaked it in vinegar. Pipe cleaners may come in handy. Don't forget the inlets where the water lines connect as they were also clogged.

Here's a trick for you all. I have an LG double solenoid inlet valve (ac) and I noticed (thanks to this video) that one solenoid had infinite ohms (broken) so I just swapped the connectors on the two, and the hoses going out. Done. Works again. It means that the 2nd detergent compartment won't have an inlet but I never use that anyway. Here in China a new solenoid valve is just 2usd but if I don't need one, why bother? 😅

There are many items on a washing machine that you could bypass this is great ingenuity. And I take my hat off to you for keeping the washing machine going, sometimes we only have to use logic to prolong the life of the appliance. This may have saved you at least £30-£40 on the component but you are still washing clothes and still able to prolong the life of your machine, congratulations you get my award for the week well done. If you watch my channel regularly, you will see. I have been to the Berlin trade show and I was really upset at the way. LG would making machines more complicated and building in obsolescence. They did not want to know anything that I had to bring to the table, they only cared about their marketing strategy only cared about all the stupid functions that they were adding to appliances which only lead to built-in obsolescence totally against everything that I'm trying to teach and trying to help the whole of the IFA trade show really at the end of the day was about consumption instead of building in sustainability. I have no idea where the world is going anymore.
