I don't care what his past was. We all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. He was one of my favorite actors may he rest in peace. His body of work will continue to live on throughout the generations.

I'll remember Howard Rollins Jr. as a great actor, an nothing will tarnish that, it reminds me of the verse, who amongst us without sin, cast the first stone, we are all sitting and unable to cast.

Yep I watch it often actually watching it now lol. Didn't know the Chiefs son was O'Connor in real life. And he definitely had demons even committed suicide from it. Was watching a episode and seen Rollins sweating and started googling what happened to him in real life. How did he contract HIV?

I saw him for the first time in Ragtime, then in A Soldier's Story, and I was convinced that he was a once in a lifetime talent, a great actor. I admit that immediately I draw a comparison between him and Sidney Poitier. I kind of thought that Mr. Rollins was the one supposed to take Mr. Poitier 's torch.

I thought it was so sad. His life ended on such a bad note. He was so very talented and young. I guess they didn't have the extensive help they have now for stars who have drug problems. But as always, it is up to the individual whether they want to stop or not. Either way, this just breaks my heart
@568843daw9 ай бұрын
I thought he was a fabulous actor. Addiction starts small, and over time, it snares you. It can happen anytime of a persons life. It is a love affair as deep as the ocean. A person will sacrifice family members, their homes and job to keep the relationship going. It isn’t until the person hits bottom , whatever or whenever that happens, that they have the strength to get a divorce. It takes courage, but it can happen. As for being gay, who in the world cares? If you do… GROW UP!
