I saw them close ACL in 2006-ish? They were amazing. They made that massive open-air festival seem both huge and intimate. I'll forever fly their flag forever. One of the greatest shows I've ever seen.

So happy this has been uploaded. Been with Coldplay from the start, nearly 25 years.It still amazes me how they still produce music that I love to listen to. This one hit me right between the eyes when I first heard it.Seeing it done live is simply a lesson in the spectacular. The epitome of teamwork. Chris's piano work is second to none. So interesting ,versatile , progressive and with such talent. I have nothing but admiration for their longevity and class. Long may it continue.

It´s complex for "pop" for sure, and I love that they didn´t go for the simple melodies and chord progressions that are in every pop song nowadays. Respect! But if you want even more complex songs, you´ll find plenty of it in jazz. Chord alterations, modulations, complicated rythms, dynamic solos etc. is all over that genre.

i love it when bands go all out to make one amazing long journey-song that defies normal song structures and explores the band's creativity for the sole purpose of telling a whole story. Think Muse's The Globalist, Green Day's Jesus of Suburbia and Homecoming, Daft Punk's Too Long.
