I still recall Heart being CanCon (for radio purposes- needed Canadian content to a certain percentage of airplay.) First song on their first album- blew our little minds. Brother bought it fresh released with some other vinyl- was going to play at a party that night- sampling each album- ended up playing just Heart - all the way through- several times that afternoon. The un-mistakeable songs that have carved our classic rock history. It doesn't get any better than this. Ann's voice has barely changed. The over saturated Gibson tone from Nancy playing that SG is the backbone of all there songs and is an instant trademark to there sound. A very treasured performance.
