Yeah, me too! Coffee makes me so sleepy. Jittery and sleepy. Not a good combo. Hence, I don't drink coffee anymore. Good to know I'm not the only one.😊

When I went to Hikone Castle we got a special entrance ticket that included tea and sweets on the stairs up to the castle, prepared by a little old lady who must walk up there to work every day. The sweets were spectacular and had gold flakes on top. I wish I knew where to get them.

Awwww what a cute ( kawaii ? ) kitty. We had not seen him for so many minutes in beginning of the video i wondered if he would put his pawprint on the model release. Maybe he was being a Diva Kitty and was refusing to come out of his trailer. The fresh roasting coffee beans reminded me to ask Ryosuke have you ever tried re-roasting your coffee beans at home on a shallow pan in oven or in enclosed pan with lid on stove top? I mentioned it to you before. Remember you just need to make them sweat a little bit and be very very sure they cool completely before you put in coffee grinder or will melt plastic grinder lid. Re Roasting your store bought beans at home really wakes up the flavor in the sleepy beans. If you ever find a second hand shop look for an old electric Hot Air Popcorn Popper. They work great at re roasting coffee beans. Be careful not to over re roast and burn them. Wow that food on a stick looked yummy . What kind of meats were they? Rice ball looked nice too.

Coffee is perfect. It wakes me when I need it and also relaxes me when I need it. I drink all day to stay awake and at night to relax and go to sleep. My husband did too. He needed it to wake up or get energy boost but also would have a cup or two if he couldn't sleep...and it put him to sleep.

A bit off-topic, but as an english-speaker learning Japanese, what have been your favorite and most helpful resources (books, programs, etc) that you've used to help you? Naturally being immersed in the language by living in Japan has probably been the biggest help, for someone who would like to learn it on their own time, what would you recommend? Great videos! I stumbled on your channel somehow earlier today and have watched probably 15 or 20 of them. It really makes me hope for a time where international marriages/relationships are more commonplace and easier to make happen logistically. There's nothing more interesting than exploring other cultures and learning about different perspectives on life.
