Howl's Moving Castle is actually one of the few major Ghibli movies I have not seen yet, but the music is amazing (as with any other Hisaishi song)!
My patrons voted for Merry-Go-Round of Life in June so I tried my best to get this done in less than two weeks. Sorry I missed June by a few days D:
This is hands-down the most difficult and longest cover I have done, which made recording a bit of a challenge. Despite a few flubs, I'm fairly happy with this! (I did do a perfect run once but my audio equipment stopped working halfway through that recording)
Here, I am referring to piano sheet music from here, but unfortunately it doesn't say who arranged it... if anyone knows, please let comment so I can give the arranger proper credit!

Lol exactly my friend! I longed for that place, and I sought after it. I found my home with the Lord of lights, the lovely shepherd King, Jesus. And that home is far away... and yet, more near than you or I may know.

@bugvomit Thanks for replying! My boy bugvomit. I’m not saying I think you’re bugvomit. Feels like I am but it is your username lol. Actually, you seem pretty cool!! Totally not bugvomit! But anyways, seek and you shall find my friend, when you seek with you’re whole heart. I will recommend looking into Christ. If you’re looking for love and for life, He’s the One you’re looking for. At one point I was also skeptical about religion, but when I found myself so depressed, I cried out to God, and the Lord appeared to me in a vision, and He saved me. Seriously. He filled me with all sorts of hidden wisdom. All the sudden I wanted to read the Bible all day. But this time, I understood what I was reading. I was able to stop smoking, stop drinking, stop chasing women- I was able a lot of the things that were hurting my relationship with God. All thanks to Jesus. I started singing psalms. Actually I was drawn to this video partially because I bought a harp so I could sing to the Lord like King David lol. Hopefully this touches you a bit. Cheers mate.

I'm not sure how to explain it, but this just makes me feel a certain way. I feel this nostalgia I've never experienced before. I feel dreamy, lonely, pure happiness and joy, desperation, and serenity. I just imagine myself in a field of flowers, on a beach, or at the railing of a boat, letting the breeze hit my face. Or maybe just laying in a patch of flowers, giggling. This makes me feel like twirling around in a secret flower field. I've never felt this type of yearning before. I want it so, so bad.

@@boredteen670 yeah, i agree. i kind of grew up with disney, though. i remember watching spirited away when i was little, but that was the only studio ghibli movie i watched when i was younger-ish. i wish i watched more of their films, they really are something else. i started watching more about two years ago. best thing i've ever done in a long time lol.

It started raining today. I had just gotten back from my walk, the dark clouds had been looming overhead for the majority of the day. I knew it was about to start raining, so I grabbed my computer and my phone and sat by the window. I turned on this video on my computer, set my phone up with a timelapse going, and I sat there. I stared out the window at the rain. I am normally scared of storms, as they bring the fear of tornados with it, but today, I felt at peace. I felt at home. I felt loved, I felt was meant to be where I am right now. I have always admired scenery in general, but this, this was magical. I don't think I'll ever forget this moment. This song will always be playing with this memory. As I am typing this, I am sitting by the window, with the rain pouring outside. Thank you.

I know that many will not even pay attention to this comment. But I want to say thank you! I recently had a headache, I tried to sleep, but it didn't help me. And I try to not drink a medicine as possible. And now, having given up, I decided to listen this melody, I closed my eyes and finally fell asleep. For the first time in a long time, I feel so relaxed, I did not have the strength, but after listening to this music it gives me something, some kind of cleanliness to do something. And waking up, I realized that I don't have a headache anymore. The melody is so relaxing and pleasant that it still plays in my head. By the way, sorry for my bad English:D! Thank you again!

Yeah... I've felt that same nostalgia in almost all the songs I love... Which can be so difficult at times... It makes me want to cry... I expressed that fear once, I was told: "Then maybe you need to make more of new happy memories..." But life can be so scary... And now... I'm slowly and steadily looking forward to having children with the one I love, one day... And give them wonderful childhood memories... and also teach them how to cope somehow about growing up... I hope you are doing well... -hugs-

I love going climbing oder i absolutely love it to go to our so called "MPS" and celebtate the day with all the other crazy thinking people like me that summer is there, christmas is coming, whatever! You dont even know each other there but you have a great time. It is like childhood time for adults. With AND without Alcohol, but everytime funny as hell! Everyones The same there. This song doesn’t make me feel like I need someone else’s embrace. No, I feel surrounded by the song, immersed in another world. And for a brief moment, when I lose myself in the harp, no thoughts surface. I am one with that world. I should like to stay there.

Hello there! I have played piano since I was a little kid and I learned harp as an adult. I would argue that they both have their unique challenges, but I personally find harp more difficult. With pedal harp (the type I play), you need to operate 7 foot pedals as you play to change keys and play accidentals. Each pedal has 3 positions and there is a very large number of pedal configurations. You get used to jumping around on the harp but I find it easier on the piano. The colored strings definitely do help with keeping track though, similar to how the shape of keys on the piano help.
