thanks dude, you jsut saved me $350 hinking the compressor was the issue rightafter replacing it. i resetted the AC codes and i was turn off EC mode and saw the compressor being to run

How do you turn off EC mode

Solved problem of replacing duo valve and constant heat coming out one of vents issues by moving flaps and thereby allowing ac too cool.I believe it forced an open flap to close. Not sure will work in long term but identified problem as flaps and could not fix that.

I have problems with car air conditioning. It blows cold on one side and warm on the other, and only if the temperature is the lowest on one side and the highest on the other. If I set it to blow at about 25 ° on both sides, then it blows cold on both sides. What could be the problem? Thank you in advance!

Thanks! Just used your lesson to turn on the center vent. Do you have to do anything to return to normal display. You don’t say!

Hi Frank, so your center vents (only) were not blowing hot/cold air? That's what my 1999 SL500 is doing. So following this procedure alone got them working? Thanks!

2002 clk320...Mine does not let me select HI, Also it does not let me select the flaps. Only stay at 0 and low.

until you fix it, just pull the fuse instead. that is a strange problem and off the top of my head i dont know the answer.
