I am with you on the skin!!!!! My cousin and I were in charge of cutting up the Turkey at Thanksgiving. We used to sneak and eat the skin from the Turkey prior to taking it to the table. It was a family tradition for years. 😂😂

Hey Tom! LOL! We have just enough scallions in our recipe that we think the balance is perfect and we bet your version is awesome, too. And I guess the fact that the chicken salad post on the blog has had 500,000+ shares, I think most people who have tried it love it as is. But hey, if someone an aversion to something...they are free to leave it out and carry on! We do add capers to our tuna salad recipe. It'really, really, good and would be good in our chicken salad, too!

@@HowToFeedaLoon K&W...made it for lunch today right down to the mayo, although for the mayo i did use half avocado oil and 1/4 EVOO and 1/4 canola. i didn't find the scallions to be too much. anyway, terry and i thought it was fantastic and easy and it is now going to be a go-to recipe. so good. thumbs up.

Scallions always ruin a good chicken salad. To my pallet even a little bit overpower and ruin every bite. There is a reason Chik Fil A didn't use green onions in theirs.
