I have been buying chicken salad in a bowl from Costco, but now it has gone up to 14.00 for the bowl. I've been looking for a recipe that had the stuff that Costco had in it. Costco doesn't have the grapes but I think we'll like this one better. Thank you .

They'll need to be mixed through, so she sprinkles them across the bowl. So many cooks don't. I made this for my 80 year old mother in law along with sourdough bread and she told me my food is magical and that I’m a food magician!! She lives on a farm in snowy mn and access to town and groceries are a little more difficult. Makes me feel so good and so appreciated! Thanks for your wonderful recipes. We (hubby & I) made my recipe for chicken salad with grapes & pecans for lunch today. He chopped, while I made the dressing. When we went to get some more out for dinner, it looked like the dressing had been completely absorbed, so I whipped up a half batch of your dressing, and threw in a handful of dried cranberries. OMG, you CAN go home again! I am 83 and always loved my Italian kitchen in my French/Italian home. Love everything on a croissant; mostly because who needs that heavy stuff? I am 70 as well. I have always enjoyed cooking..the kitchen was my ‘happy place’..my family certainly benefited from that…lol and now grandchild called tonight and has very bad cold and said Mimi…I wouldn’t be upset if to made me chicken and dumplings at my front door…that has been my children and grandchildren favorite for many years, then she said….I’m kidding..of course she was…..😉 so I pulled a frozen chicken out tonight, so guess what I’ll be stirring up in my kitchen tomorrow…❤️ watching and explaining each step. My granddaughter, when she was about 7 yrs old..we would always video ourselves cooking in my kitchen..one day months later, my husband said..do u know anything about this…my darling was video herself baking…I kept thinking..I thought I had more eggs..milk?? And a messy kitchen..I thought..dang my husband is a slob….she would add her ingredients, did the taste test, make a face..throw in the sink..start all over…clock showed 1 am..hubby asleep on sofa, me in my bedroom…aww so priceless..I will forever cherish that memory..

We would go there every other weekend. He even has peaches 🍑 for many years. He had corn, 🌽 watermelons,🍉 peanuts,🥜 cantaloupe, 🍈 peas🌱 and as a kid I thought he raised everything. But he raised cattle, had horses, mules, donkeys but he was best known as a Dairy Farmer. He used to sell his milk 🥛 to Barbers. The best recipe for Chicken Salad I've seen! The addition of buttery toasted pecans, red grapes and dried cranberries all are favorites.The finished Chicken Salad looks soooo delicious especially on a croissant !!! Can't wait to make this!

I worked in a high end restaurant in Atlanta and I had to make chicken salad every day. I baked the chicken breast I used to me it makes it taste better than boiling it because it maintains all its flavor.
