I love the shade of blue for the bedroom ❤ The humour between everyone is priceless😂 The rhubarb compote looked delicious too 🙂 As a child the only way I liked rhubarb was in a strawberry rhubarb pie. Love the blue! We have blue walls in our bedroom, too, and it feels so cozy and calming. I also appreciate the return of French lessons with Nathan. Benoît - never mean to Nathan. To prevent the rhubarb from becoming bitter when cooked, you should peel off the outer skin of the stalks, which is quite easy if you start from the root side. Have fun next time... Damit der Rhabarber beim kochen nicht bitter wird, sollte man die äußere Haut der Stengel abziehen, was recht einfach geht, wenn man von der Wurzelseite beginnt. That color is my favorite color blue!! I couldn’t believe it when it went up. My favorite color is green, sage all the way to Hunter’s green. But, I always paint my bedroom blue. Blue is a soothing tranquil color. That blue, which is almost a smoky blue is my favorite. I’d use antiquing glaze on all the wood panels. It’d really bring out all the lines & detail giving it more depth. It’s easy to do, almost like stain except you apply it heavily, then wipe off parts you want lighter & leave the lines darker. It’d look like it’s been there forever too.

Another fun episode. When I was a little girl my father used to stew the rhubarb from his garden and my mother would add stewed apples and make a delicious apple and rhubarb crumble. Thank you for a delightful memory. A small amount of maple syrup might sweeten your compote for the girls palates. Yummy warm with ice ream or custard. Beautiful blue walls lend themselves to all sorts of cottage and Victorian decoration ideas. Have fun. Looking forward to the candle product placement in the petite toilet.

Anna, you can anchor your cutting board by placing a damp dish cloth under it. That way when you're cutting it won't slip and slide and you won't accidentally cut yourself. 🙂That compote looks AMAZING!!

A big headboard in fabric is such a splendid idea! 💝 If your fabric have white inside the print, you can create a beautiful and chic suite. Love this idea. Add a charming loveseat, a pair of beautiful chairs and golden lighting accessories such as lamps and it will be stunning. Don't forget a persian carpet. Their rich colors can complete marvelously your decor.
