What I consider " beginner" hoyas, I would say any of the carnosa ( which includes crimson queen and crimson princess) or pubicalyx varieties, also fungii, obovata and australis. Good luck

Hi Nora… love love love your Hoya krimson Queen on that trellis I purchase a Hoya carnosa tricolor and it happen to be a variegated Hoya Chelsea i have a Hoya Krimson Queen already and compared it but the leaves are shaped as a little cup , happy to find they deal. Thank you for your videos , I love watching it cause I learn a lot. 😘

I'm new with hoyas and I did the same, not knowing, I purchased Hoya Tricolor and Hoya Krimson Queen.....then I found out they are the same but with different names. It's a beautiful hoya so I don't mind having two, I haven't potted them together but now that I saw your video, I'm thinking of doing it.

I've seen so many hoya krimson princess being sold as hoya tricolor. There are some sellers selling the same plant under different names too! For example, it is clearly a hoya krimson princess but they're also selling it listed by the name of rubra and tricolor. People who don't know would purchase them, thinking they're each different plants but they are the same. I've also seen a seller list a krimson queen/tricolor but it's a picture of a krimson princess.

Hey🎉 hoya krimson queen and hoya tricolor (also known as krimson princess) are not the same plant- thing is krimson queen was called tricolor as well in the past - its confusing and problematic in that case. Krimson queen and krimson princess are different from each other-you can tell it by comparing their leaves for example (varriegacy etc).
