Criticizing Hozier's lack of performance entertainment is, in my opinion, petty. Music has lost its beauty, and has become about sexy stage entertainment with catchy lyrics. Hozier needs not to perform some act, rather to sing his music. He is an artist, and a crowd's entertainment should be focused on the songs, not an act. The respect I have for him has also increased when you look at his backup singers. Most are female, and none are dressed in a sleazy, attention-forceful outfit.
@FiqkiAzizah9 жыл бұрын
Completely agree with you. Hozier is pure class. Exactly the kind of musician that we need in this century.
@mugen36039 жыл бұрын
God, yes. Just let the man sing. That's all I need. If people want to watch some asshole jump around on stage and lipsync to his own music because he's so out of breath from shaking his ass that he can't even sing, there are dozens of such "artists" in the top 100 they could go see. Hozier is amazing as he is.
@desh27699 жыл бұрын
Ash Stylinson Couldn't agree more. If you need giant d*cks, twerking midgets, cupcake boobs or sharks in your performance, you've got real problems. He's standing there with a guitar and I'm transfixed. That's a real artist in my book.

Sweet Jesus, he reminds me of Michael Hutchence and Van Morrison. Wonderful singer, wonderful song. Glad to see someone in the music industry that has a real passion for what he's doing.
