HP ProDesk 400 G1 SFF Desktop pc Part 1

This is the intro to a HP ProDesk 400 G1 Small Form Factor Desktop pc. These were used in a lot of offices and this will eventually (and hopefully!) be turned into a cheap light gaming pc. Spec is i5 4570 quad core intel socket 1150 cpu, 4gb ddr3 ram, 500gb hdd. *The gpu to add will be a gt 740 2gb*. The r5 340x will go into another machine.

Hi something like a low profile 1650 would be the most powerful but the most expensive. Next is the 1050ti.

Hi this machine is ideal. Also try an HP tower pc with a 250-300 watt psu at least. A tower will allow something like an 1050ti full height card to be installed. Maybe replace cpu with an i7 and add 16gb ram, ssd. You can add a wifi usb dongle from Tp-Link.

Hi I do not have this system anymore but they are usually easy to remove. 3 or 4 screws on rear of case. Make a note of where the connectors go before removal.
