HPTuners Smart Access Bypass Cable Install & Location | 6.4 5.7 Hemi Hellcat 2018 + || HOW TO

In this video, I will walk you through, beginning to end on how to install the required Bypass Cable from HPTUNERS which is REQUIRED for any 2018 or newer MOPAR. Will the car start without the bypass cable, having problems with my challenger

@392_z yes the car will start without it. Only required to flash new tunes and read the pcm.

What does that do and can I do it on a 2016 charger ?

@thekmfamily9325 it is not required on anything older than 2018.. there is no benefit for your 2016.. This makes the 2018+ vehicles tuneable

@hubert1745 it has a resistor in it that allows us to by pass security module on the car. It’s required on all Mopars 2018 and newer
