Loved the video. Your bricklaying skills are on a par with mine. The good news is, some of my work is now 30 years old and still standing.

Hi Paul. That was oddly extremely satisfying to watch. Not a project I would ever entertain doing myself, yet one I am drawn to follow. Looking forward to the next instalment. 👏👏👍😀

Hi Paul, Great video, always enjoy following your DIY projects large and small. Good progress. Look forward to see how you manage the door installation, they look awkward to handle. Have a great weekend!!

Hi Jamie, thank you for your support. My regular subscribers are often not so keen on the DiY projects but it's hard to do a video every week on just one topic as a hobbyist. The 2nd part (final part) will be out next week. Cheers

I know its cold, but I never lay bricks dry, I wet everything, 'cos I was told by my Dad who wasn't a builder that the water is drawn out of the bricks which makes a weak joint! Cheers, Matthew

Yes, never buy wooden window frames unless you enjoy scraping and painting every year 😂
