The legend has returned! Super happy with it too! My favorite car from the update by far! We finally have the full iconic GT500 trio!

I love how you start the car reviews with another returning legend in the Gran Turismo series. I'm happy that this car falls in the Gr.3 category since I believed that it will be when Kaz posted the 5 cars on Twitter. I hope that the 2004 Nissan Motul Pitwork Z will return to this game. It's one of my all-time favorite GT500 cars in the Gran Turismo franchise. I used to drive it all of the time in GT4 on any circuit. Plus, since we're already in June, let's hope that Circuit Gilles Villeneuve will appear in GT7.

Fantastic in VR as well. This car is actually one of the better GR3 choices, even with BOP restrictions engaged.

Glad to see the NSX and the 90s-2000 JGTC collection being complete I’m hoping they do the same w the 80-90s & 2019 DTM classes

Definitely, the 2019 cars would also add to the Gr2 class, which is currently very small

Something interesting about this car and the Honda Civic SiR II being added is that they were cut from the updated data mining list and only remain present on the old one.

You asked so here it is: A GT7 newb's perspective on this one. I play full VR and cockpit rig and started a couple months ago. My Gr.3 collection consists of the Ford GT LM Test Car, the NSX '16 Gr.3, the Mustang Gr. 3 (which I've barely touched because I hate how it handles), and now the NSX GT500 2000. I absolutely love the Gr. 2 Concept and Gr. 3 NSXs. They just feel intuitive for me. No over or understeer unless I push too hard, and I always know what they're doing. Honestly, while the NSXs are more practical, I just love my Ford GT40. Yeah, it understeers and is heavy as sin, but it's another one that just feels right to me, even if it's nothing compared to a Porche 911 or Lambo Huracán (which I drove in a circuit experience and hated) The NSX GT500, however, has almost no force feedback on the wheel. That might just be because I'm used to heavier cars, but it just feels too light for me. And it's somehow even worse with understeer than my GT40. I've got to REALLY crank on the wheel to get it to turn where I want to. I'll definitely give it a shot and see how it goes, but I might just go back to the '16 NSX

Great review, although kind of weird seeing a Takata livery in the video when the title says Castrol Mugen NSX. At least in the game, it is simply called NSX GT500.
@MiguelPerez-eh3on7 ай бұрын
He should have used the white and green takata livery that was used with the 90s body style that is similar to this 2000s body style the 2003 takata livery looks cursed with the 2000s body style XD

Honestly, as an old time GT player... this version of the car is leaps and bounds better than before, it's so fun to drive, especially against the Castrol Supra and Pennzoil GTR

Absolutely no issues with the car for me, handles like a dream and is everything you expect it to be. Only minor quibble I have is the menu book prize, which is pretty pathetic for cars that cost in excess of 5 million

Definitely happy with this car, especially as this season I switched from being a McLaren driver to Honda. This will give me another option depending on how the BOP treats it. However being new I'm hoping it will be treated well. You can definitely use it for Le Mans. I think I did 92% power and 8kg added to get 699.99. You can only use RH and the two wet tyres though. With fuel map 6 and some lifting (my gaming brain cant manual shift to save my life) you can get 6 laps out of it. Obviously weather dependent as to if you want to go without a pit. I've just needed a splash and dash to get the 7 laps when needed. Don't need to change tyres at all.

Definitely a big fan of this car, though I've always preferred the slightly newer one, especially the ARTA livery. My favourite of these NSX's has to be the ones from 1998 that were in Gran Turismo 2, especially the Castrol Mugen NSX, I do like this one, and I know they chose the 2000 one because it's more iconic both in real life and in Gran Turismo, but the livery on that '98 version is so much better in my opinion. I loved driving this car in GT6 and older games and I'm happy with how it performs in GT7.

I'm really enjoying this car as well. 👍 Lot's of fun doing Sardegna. I'm also having a ton of fun with the new V40 Volvo! I did the two lap Nurb event with it and had an absolute blast throwing that buggy around the track!!! 🍺

As great as this car is, This is yet another point of what I talked about in that Problems with GT7 discussion regarding inconsistent pricing. I was fully expecting this car to cost around 2,500,000 cr. The same as the Penzoil GTR. This is because there's been a pattern with these types of race cars where their value compared to other vehicles is related to the road car prices, with the 2 most prominent examples being the Mclaren F1 and Nissan Skyline. And since both the GTR and NSX costs over 400 grand in road car form, I thought the same would apply in GT500 form. I mean, both are the winners of their respective years, as well as the 97 Castrol Supra. And it's not like the years of where they participated would be a major consideration. But, despite all this logical reasoning, PD once again abandons all logic and makes the NSX the cheapest of the 3. Just make them prize cars again Sony. Otherwise, best interpretation of the car since Gran Turismo 3.

For once a classic gr3 car seems competitive in sport mode. At least for now. This will likely end up being the fastest of the 3 jgtc cars in gr3 under bop when it gets inevitably nerfed next update. Should still be viable in a few places though.

I can’t be the only one who thinks this car is complete ass. Even fully tuned, the handling sucks, the brakes are squirrelly and inefficient, and the speed is so-so. The 787B and R92CP are light-years better in every way. I purchased it because I’m a completionist, but after a few races it’s just another car to skip over to get to better options.
