I love that you decided to speak on this relationship! Henry Percy actually got physically ill after having to codemn Anne at her trial (he did sit at the trial unlike you reported) proving his love for her. He then passed away about one year later after she was killed. I always found this relationship interesting, considering my husband descended from Henry Percy and I've always been a huge Anne supporter and probably her number 1 supporter.

This is fascinating, and supposedly James Butler was also living in the household of Cardinal Wolsey at the time. I can just imagine how annoyed the cardinal was with this headstrong brunette turning the heads of his protégés 🙂

Anne loved Henry percy and Thomas Wyatt ❤ She only married Henry the 8th for power and because her dad wanted her to social climb for him.

This is a good what if scenario. Somebody should write a book... An alternative history where they end up together. Where Lord Percy saves her.
