If apple would be sanctioned like Huawei. Apple will turn into a boutique selling real apples in less than a year. almost all components inside the Apple is made of Chinese components.

Well, it is not that easy! China has more to gain by keeping allowing Apple to operate freely in its territory, I mean the majority of Apple products are still manufactured in China, which means big revenues for the Chinese as well, and now that they are trying to compete with the U.S. with AI chips and other essential smartphones components, keeping Apple in the Chinese market is more profitable.

Now that the Chinese are about to break into the high end chip fabs, Apple will continue to slide as Huawei keeps releasing new phones and its Harmony OS goes international. The upcoming Mate 70 Pro is said to feature 5nm Kirin chips and its SOC will bring more functional features. The fact that Huawei is focused on the 'internet of things' will sink in on consumers as more and more products become part of IoT. From appliances to cars to homes and work. IoT is the next big thing and Apple has not created the IoT infrastructure that Huawei has. Further, Huawei has developed its own domestic supply chain, and like BYD, that efficiency translates in product lower prices and higher margins. Apple still subs out its CPU chip fab. Now with Huawei stopping Qualcomm purchases, Qualcomm may team with Apple just for survival sake. We are also seeing a synergism between Huawei and BYD which will further strengthen Huawei in the auto domain and exploit autonomous driving and beyond.

Huawei is really taking on the market. And Qualcomm should be worried, because most of the midrange phones now are using mediatek chipsets, I mean, Qualcomm is only steady In the PC market, but unfortunately US recently stoped the supply for the matebook x pro, Wich is a loss for both.

Yes but China can't really afford to ban them. Apple brings a lot of revenues to China and Huawei needs the kind of competition they offer to thrive even further!

i dont think so as apple is in the mouth of practically everybody, even those 7 years old. even though many are not aware of the iphone capability, capacity etc, all they want is... iphone. yes, its because its trendy and for many, it provide a higher status. just because of the logo. as even a samsung of 1/3 the price of the iphone will suffice for most of those who deadly want an iphone.

Android is common out there, Huawei is bringing something new which a new operating system and it's already making waves, that's what exactly IPhone is afraid of. Apple is responsible for Ios, and so many brands are hooked up on Android. Therefore a new operating system which is HOS is coming new which Huawei is responsible for this. Apple is scared like f*ck

I don't need to. The sales are evident. Huawei isn't part of the top 5 worldwide. Even defeated by Xiaomi, vivo and Oppo, so what's the sense?
