This was kind of exactly what I was looking for, this would be great for a survival kit especially if you carried 500 to a couple thousand rounds of those pellets, and you were to have one of those hand pumps that go up to 6,000 psi, that extra tank is great if you need to have quick exchange for follow up. You can definitely get enough birds like pigeons and crows in order to subsist on. I'm also curious about turning rocks into ammunition, by either making them the right size through other methods, or by melting them in a couple thousand degree furnace, making your own obsidian type stones. In any case I'm interested in that kind of apparatus that will help you be able to form stones into small enough ammunition, 22 in my opinion is a easily accessible state between weight and size of projectile. This is a very good example of something you can use in a long-term survival kit. It would also be interesting to see this be tested on larger amounts of meat, like ribs or a pig skull, which is very accurate to a human one, and even a ballistic gel head for fun. Because at less than 25 to 30 yards, if this can go through a person's head, and maybe at longer ranges if you were to coat the pellets or fill them with poison, this can be a very effective tool for self-defense as well in many applications.

First, let me say thanks for watching and your comprehensive comment. Now, to answer your questions: I definitely recommend using a pump for this gun, because it has a small tank and it can be filled up to 350 bar. The Huben pump goes to 350 bar too. Usually air tanks are filled up to 300 bar, so it's better to use that pump. If you watch my latest video you'll see I shot 34 grain pellets with the gun, and yes, I think those can penetrate larger animal skulls at 25-30 yards. As for the usage of stones, you absolutely cannnot shoot stone pellets through that barrel - that will ruin it and its accuracy. As a matter of fact, they'll ruin the barrel of a wide number of firearms too, if not all. I'm not a stone smith so I have no idea what will be the effect of shooting melted stones, but I guess it would be the same. Those barrels are designed for shooting the soft alloy used for making airgun pellets and slugs.

@@2musiclover534 well, the Leshiy 2 has versions which much longer barrels, which translates for better accuracy. Accuracy wise, I'd say the 250 mm barrel version of the L2 is comparable to the GK1. The Leshiys with longer barrels will give you the accuracy at long ranges. If you're looking for that at 80 yards +, definitely get an L2 with a longer barrel.

When I was a kid we used slingshots. Lord knows we didn’t waste any meat. As kids we hunted for meat and definitely didn’t believe in waste. Hey, bud. It is good both for beginners and advanced shooters. It can be pressurized when stored, of course, otherwise you'll have to start filling it up form 0 every time you take out the gun. You can refill the gun with a hand pump (specially designed for PCPs), a compressor or a bottle.

I can't answer all of your questions, because I haven't tried the regulated version of the pistol. Go to hubenairguns.shop, the info should be there. I can only say that the regulated pistol should be capable of lower power levels.

@@PETRAKOV1 I haven't shot slugs through it. I know some guys do, but I personally don't think such a short barrel is suitable for slugs. And I haven't reached max power level. The shot count will drop too much. This is not a shooting platform for for extreme power levels, that's not the idea behind it in my opinion. I shoot 25 grain diabolo pellets or 34 grain pellets.

If ya all buy 2, get it out of your head about duel guns. Im amidextriouse and a bit ocd, TO me having 34 shots accessable in the field is better than 17, as it takes a bit to reload. Or perhaps ill do the sbthing thats pretty damn cool too.. These gk1's are completely amazing and useful. And I only shoot 1 hand out of time. The pellet level doesnt really seem to interfear with my left hand as the right and left versions have the loading lever on the other side. But otherwise, the safty AND the pressure Gauge is on the left. Or at least mine is.
