I'm 60 years old. Fan of Rock, Jazz, bit of the dance floor king in my life during the disco, rap left me dead in the water. But as the years linger on I'm more in tune with the blues. Guess as you get older some things just never seem to last in your life but one thing... The Blues. They just linger on letting me know I'm still alive.

coastalcowboy707 You know I'm 65 soon, I've always loved music, I think that's what keeps us young at heart, can't do nothing about the outer appearance. We are a younger looking family than we really are. You are right I don't know what to do about Rap... Jazz is always good. Keep on trucken

"Guess as you get older some things just never seem to last in your life but one thing... First saw and heard Hubert Sumlin i 1972 with Howling Wolf in 1972 at the Esquire Show Bar (Montreal). Best show I’d ever seen before or since! Saw him again at a Blues joint in MTL with Pinetop Perkins at the the ‘G Sharp’ in ‘92. It was the third night of a two-night gig. Fourteen fans in a tiny blues juke-joint!! Owner Gary Sharp passing around shots of Bourbon, great night! At intermission, I told Mr. Sumlin about seeing him twenty years before, and naming every member of the band. Caught his attention! We sat on the piano bench for a few minutes, talking about the blues. A true gentleman (and chicken farmer) who played everything except what was expected of him! I will never forget Hubert Sumlin,RIP!

Although I almost don't understand anything because of his accent without subtitles no matter how many times I listen to it I'll always enjoy it so much.

Don, absolutely love this song. It kinda makes me tear up and I think it's romantic and perfect for the first dance of the bride and groom at a wedding. When he sings "I love you girl, all my problems I had, baby baby baby baby baby, it was yours just like it was mine". Oooooooo, ouch. Fantastic. As for the music and playing of Hubert Sumlin, well slow Blues must live on and on. Judging by the amount of comments Don, you most certainly are right to have posted such an awesome song. Many many thanks. Blessings to reach you far and wide. Anne.
