The cast became complete with the addition of Robert Llewellyn. His rendition of Kryten contributed (and still contributes) so much to Red Dwarf.

In a way, he usurped the role of Holly, who faded into the background and was gone by series 6. I guess there was only so much you could do with a face on a screen who couldn't interact with the environment. Rimmer had the same problem as a hologram, which is why he was eventually upgraded to hard light.

Traffic cones get used indoors all the time; wet floors, elevator shafts, vending machines under repair(Lister should know this - he is officially a chicken soup machine repairman - but QED hangover), etc. They should be *really* worried about the policewoman's helmet and suspenders, though; the only way those could be on board a spacecraft three million years in the future is if one of the crew had a fetish. In other words: *biohazard.*
