The 80s wouldn't have been as awesome as they were without this guy and his band.

Huey was really good friends with my dad, their studio was in the same court as my dad's rehearsal studio (and speaker repair shop on the other side of the building). He shouted to my pops that they were heading out to record this song on the day of my birth, so this song will always be special to me.

Great high school times and memories listening to Huey Lewis and The News back in the 80’s.

Yep. '2' Class acts. Thanks, gentlemen. I was pretty much a hard rock'er in the 80s, but there was always a place for Huey Lewis & the News in my cassette case. Nice to see that he's aging pretty well. Father Time is being kind. That says something about the man, I'd say. All the best, gentlemen. 🙏

What a great story about getting Stan Getz (or him getting you! lol)! The way all of those pieces came together with you, your dad, and Stan was really lovely! Thank you for so much music that still brings a smile to my face to this day! ❤

As far as demotions go,Dan Rather interviewing the greats of rock and pop of the last four decades is not a bad way to go.

The Power of Love is awesome, phenomenal song. Huey has always been one of my absolute fave musical artists. Cool guy, great band, great music. He didn’t talk about it in this segment but the follow up album to Small World was Hard At Play released in early ‘91, it’s a cool rock album very reminiscent of Fore. 😎🎤🎸🥁🎶
