Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZbin, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZbin. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZbin, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

This song along with Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock and Roll” and others were sort of a response to when other music styles such as punk new wave etc were getting lots of attention and play. The songs were reminders of where those styles evolved from and that the pure R&R was where their hearts were. By the way Huey did a duet with Gwyneth Paltrow for a movie they both starred. Song was called Cruisin’

Huey Lewis & the News had such a rich, pure, and wholesome '80s rock sound. Sports was one of the first LPs I ever had, it was a pretty solid album with catchy hits.

I'd say there was another reason for him not wanting to name the song about Cleveland. Because around the time that this first album came out they were trying to decide which city the rock and roll Hall of Fame was going to end up in. Cleveland was a strong contender but all of us in the bay area close to San Francisco wanted it there! So we didn't get our way and the rock and roll Hall of Fame really doesn't do much for me anyway. Peace!

San Francisco ( Marin County ) band. The members came together from 2 other bands that broke up The photos on this album is inside the old bar - 2 am Club in Mill Valley Ca. I first saw them play at the Muir Woods volunteer fire department fundraiser in Muir Woods in the early 80’s. Listen for a bit , ate some barbecue and then took off. 😂

One of my favorite bands from the 1980s. The San Francisco party scene then was this band and the 49ers and this song was one of their gems off an album full of them. Heart and Soul and Walking On A Thin Line are two I recommend from these guys but there are alot of hits from this band.
