Just because it’s the same music producer doesn’t mean we won’t get new and different music. Someone new could just come in and try to replicate what has already been done before anyways. Murray Gold has the experience and knows what works and what doesn’t. He gave each companion a new theme and did continue to upgrade and change his music throughout the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th doctors run. I’m sure he’ll do the same in this new era.

I'm a huge fan of Murray Gold; and I'm a concert pianist, and musician, and studied historical (Renaissance) music and compositions with Renaissance and Baroque instrumentation, from that perspective, for me Murray Gold did something absolutely genius with the music he composed for the Doctor Whoniverse. Who of the fans here, who watched Doctor Who from the 2005 start to be disappointed by the horrible music in the Chibnall era? Murray Gold's music makes me literally remember, feel, emote, cry, feel fear, feel anger, feel wonder, and recognize characters instantly from his subtle themes for each of them. His use of contra tenors, for the Ood themes, and unique singers, as well as choirs to signal the Daleks, brought chills up and down our spines. I rarely rant about the genius that is Murray Gold, but I sincerely disagree with your statement that "someone new should replace Murray Gold" to "bring new talent into Who", I'm sure there are very talented composers out there, but at the moment most musicians are jumping on to the AI bandwagon and plagiarizing things and using rips of existing music and ripping copyright apart. Murray created Who's literal heartbeat for years, (who do you expect to outdo "I am the Doctor", The Shepherd's Boy", "Doomsday" and "This is Gallifrey" to mention a few - and unless you find someone with surpassing talent for composing and understanding the Whoniverse, I think you'll be hard-pressed to find that person. I consider Doctor Who blessed for another season of Murray Gold and look forward to seeing and hearing his beautiful works at the Royal Albert Hall when the next Doctor Who at the Proms happens. My favorite bit of your videos is when you snap and go into an unexpected political roast! As for Murray return, I think people who don't want Murray to return are expressing the sentiment of wishing for new blood and diversity, and that is admirable. But to me, I think the main reason Russell is bringing back his old gang is because of the pressure that is on them. It will be the first series accessable to over 100 million people as it drops. If we want spin offs and for doctor who's fan base to grow, IT NEEDS to succeed, so bringing out the old guard (FOR NOW) is the best idea. They have done it successfully before, so the risk there is minimal. This isn't to say that new talent couldn't do it successfully to, but there is NO margin for failure with this team back together again.

I disagree Ron Grainer, Eric Winstone, Delia Derbyshire, Peter Howell were the best composers ever they could do scary theme tunes which Murray Gold lacks why not have a Ron Grainer type of composer it needs fresh talent.

I have to say about your comment on needing new talent for who. We did have the Jodie Era which was basically all new people. I personally liked Jodie's Era. But I am looking forward to returning to the doctor who I grew up with. That may be just nostalgia but I am excited for it. I personally think the RTD years were the best in consistency, music, theming, merchandising, directing, writing, and acting. we might only have one season of ncuti before DR who gets axed. (you never know, it happened before). So I'm just looking forward to something we KNOW works. After Ncuti and RTD leave I'm all for having a shake-up with all new talent in the room. But for RTD's Return Era, I want the old gang together that we know can prodce amazing content.

In regards to Tennant in costume - I HIGHLY doubt it's reshoots - he's completely cleanshaven compared to for the 60th, that would be a continuity nightmare! Any trailer promo has already probably been shot - my best guess is Children in Need, as things have been teased in regards to it.

My concern with bringing in all the old gang for the new series is that maybe we are expecting too much. Like what if we expect so much and its a total flop. Im trying so hard not to have too high of expectations. And Im happy Murray Gold is back

I was the the convention Freema Agyman and Sophie Aldred were at and I went to the plannel. Someone asked Freema if she would return to Doctor who if she was asked. Then she said she wouldn’t return to the show how it is now. But she would return to the show how it used to be when she was on it. If that includes spin-offs who knows.

Would've preferred Sam Watts (SJA) or Blair Mowat (Class - the show and Big Finish and a HELL OF A LOT of Big Finish's Torchwood content), but I guess.... eh, I guess it's still a good thing? At least on the idea of Series 10's OST finally being let out of the metaphorical void. Sort of hoping that it's not JUST Murray Gold for Series 15 and onwards. To use a show that I absolutely stan as an example, Agents of SHIELD primarily had Bear McCreary but Jason Akers was also involved in Series 2-6 and even was given equal prominence for Series 7 (aka the final season). This is sort of a roundabout way of me saying that multiple composers could be an interesting thing to go with and that could POTENTIALLY be doable given the budget increase? (I'm just full-on rambling now so I'll shut up lmao)

I liked Gold, but he was composer for 12 years , so Akinola soundtracks were so refreshing loved his doctor theme , time lords , cybermen & flux. Also felt gold got a bit repetitive, I got sick of hearing time of the doctor over and over.

I prefer Steven Moffat over RTD when it comes to dr Who. I would love David Arnold to write the music for dr Who he did the music for some of the Bond films. I hope that RTD dose not make the Doctor Gay or Camp just cos we have a gay actor in the role. I remember Captain Jack first appearance was in a 2 part Steven Moffat Doctor Who story from 2005. He was straight and flirted with Rose. Then when touchwood started filming they made him bi. No need to do that with the Doctor. I have nothing against gays or bi people. Just it would come across as being to woke in the modern world and if it ant broke do t fix it.
