Compare ingredient lists, including where the actives sit on that list. There are tons of inexpensive products with actives high on the list. I use a pure hyaluronic serum, a vitamin C serum (occasionally), and a moisturizer during during the day. At night, I alternate tretinoin, a peptide serum, and an AHA/BHA treatment. People say I have amazing skin. I don't believe in forking out hundreds of dollars for products, let alone where a long list of chemicals precedes the actual active I'm interested in. Not speaking about his line in particular. But he does cater to the wealthy. $90 for a one ounce bottle or 100k for a vertical restore is totally out of my budget. That being said, I love watching his channel because he has excellent advice and insights on aging.

The vast majority of them use the same private label labs and hence have the same products, different names and price points of course. They can use existing formulas or collaborate and create something unique.

In the winter, your skin does get extremely dry… it’s probably a complaint his clients are telling him at the office so he made a solution to that. I wash my hands a lot and I literally see my hands drying and cracking during the winter. I found out after many years of trial and error by myself and after seeing a local dermatologist that the fastest way to fix dry cracked skin is to use a product covers your skin and physically create a protective skin barrier. My dry cracked hands meant i had broken the skin barrier in that area. I personally use a balm that uses the ingredient: colloidal oatmeal for the function of skin barrier protectant and it has worked. The concept is the same. His new product is a skin barrier protectant. You don’t have to buy his product but the information he provides is valid…
