Seriously the best kind of American tourists - those that embrace our culture and heritage ALWAYS find something to enjoy. 2 years ago I was coming back from the US to London and a group of Americans had brought milk AND water with them because they were told British milk and water were undrinkable. I guarantee all they saw was London and American fast food restaurants and went home with zero memories. More power to you guys for actually enjoying what we have to offer.

My dear youtubers, this is not frivolous. I offer the following in support of my premise. They drink tea. They queue to British standards and we all know if queuing was in the Olympics we'd win gold. They share our sense of fair play, friendliness and are nice, a quality so often overlooked. And frankly, they have seen more of our country than we have :). So, are we agreed? Eric and Allison are bestowed the right to call Britain home? I can't wait to see which country and county they choose to adopt :)

Moving from Guam - makes you USA military. Try to get off base - rather than hiding behind the fence. Even locally, there are lots of things to see. The UK is very small, so travelling around the UK is very viable. Don't just do London, but take in a bit of the North of England, the South West, Scotland and Wales. Ireland is also very easy to get to - both Northern Ireland and Eire (The Republic of Ireland).

FYI - Cornwall, an maybe devon, are the only places in Britain that have NO major roads. Cornwall is named after the ancient kern tribe. A English pie with 'ale' in it, means real ale is used, not fake ale flavouring.

Hi, I'm a new viewer of your channel- I just wanted to say, I really enjoy your content. I think part of me that makes me enjoy it (aside from the good editing and content) is that the fact you're so respectful and polite about the UK. As a Patriotic brit, sometimes you see people from overseas who are very rude about what they don't like about the country. With you guys, even if you don't like something- you'll at least be diplomatic and polite in saying "I'm not a huge fan of this". That's very cool to see. Ps I've been looking through the comments, and whilst there's a lot of nice ones. Theres also some rather bitchy ones from my fellow countrymen/women. It's pretty hilarious how Brits have this reputation of being all prim and proper when a lot of us are just downright obnoxious! 😂 ..... Whilst I'm stereotyping obviously- Americans actually seem to have better manners to me. Keep up the good work and apologies for the long reply! lol.

A lot of our roads are small because they were originally built back in roman/medieval times. A lot of the hedgerows grew up around them, plus a lot of the land on either side is owned by someone. So, it's really difficult and expensive to completely rip it all up and start over. So, we just built bypass roads instead. But, it's still very difficult to build bypass roads in the countryside, because of the land being owned by someone. So, that's why even our cars are too big, because there were no cars when they were originally built. But, still cool to know you're possibly using a route the Romans used. Hope that makes sense :)

The tickets to the Eden Project are quite pricey, but well worth it. There's far more than just plants. It supports all manners of STEM paths and careers with a view to support new innovative forms of sustainability, it also has a lot of sculptures, is very keen on education and it often holds themed workshops, with the theme changing annually and theatrical and interactive presentations aimed at people everywhere. Plus most of their eateries and shops use ingredients that were either grown in the facility or are locally sourced. Also if you choose to donate the money you spend on your ticket to their charity, then it grants you an annual pass so you can go back as many times as you want in the space of a year. Which means that you can revisit as many times as you want during your trip without having to pay to get in again, which works well if you're not into crowds and so would rather visit in the evenings when it's quieter. Or you can even plan your holiday next year to coincide with the dates if you go to Cornwall annually, meaning you only have to fork out once every other year to get in. I'm so glad to see more tourism coming to the UK, as Brits I don't think we brag enough about what rich and amazing attractions we have to offer.
