My auntie had something similar... the top came to our house 'on loan' for me to use as a display cabinet for the nationality dolls I collected as a child. Top and bottom were eventually reunited and she sold it for a good price when that style of furniture was sought after.

I’ve got something very similar that I need to paint to match my kitchen, and I’m putting it off because I’m a bit overwhelmed by it. I find so long as I work in stages (disassemble, clean, strip, repairs, sand, stain and so on) it is less overwhelming. If I jump from one task to another without completing a stage, it gets messy. Also important to keep all the screws and hardware well organised and labelled for reassembly. Goodluck for your piece once you get started :) Thank you for watching my video!
