Huge explosion above Kyiv after 'most powerful' attack since spring

The Kyiv mayor, Vitali Klitschko, said at least two people were killed in the Ukrainian capital after Russia launched an attack using drones and missiles. Ukrainian air defence systems shot down at least 20 missiles heading for the city from different directions.

I can see my house on this video…😢 It is Zdolbunivska st. in Kyiv. For everyone who wrote here about ‘lies’ of UA government: this wasnt a flying rocket! Rocket FLIES faster (I already know). You can see part of it which was already burning in the air before falling on a building. This caused an explosion. I guess rocket was hit by our air force system but it needs to fall down somewhere anyway

it's a cruise missile, so a simpler and cheaper air defense is enough for it. the problem with this kind of rocket is that they maneuver and try to bypass air defense and eventually reach a city. This problem can be solved by more dense air defence / radars and plane-radars, also jets could help as they also can maneuver and work as air defence
