My niece held me hostage in my own room last night after her studying spelling and regaled me with stories from her current 4th grade year. I was ready to lay in the fetal position while I had flashbacks. She left and I then went into my son’s room and thanked him for being a boy and I know he didn’t really get a choice but just thank you for making me a boy mom. I was not built to parent a daughter. Girls are vicious in elementary and high school.
