Ha! Nice work Richard! Love the ol' 'digging to Australia' jibe. My gran used to say that to me when I was digging giant holes in her potato patch. Which reminds me... When I was a toddler, my grandad told me off for digging a hole in his flower bed... he went indoors and came back out 10 minutes later and I'd dug another hole..! He apparently started to tell me off again, but I halted him in his tracks and said 'Grandad, stop! This isn't a whole hole - it's only half a hole'! Much hilarity ensued! Willie :)

That was a lot of fun, and a real bonanza! 😁 I loved how Iain's accent made it sound like he was calling you "Wally" 🤣🤣 His belter boogie needs work, of course, but I'm sure you can help him. 😂 I especially enjoy your restoration work. You do such a superb job that I wish other mudlarks and bottle diggers would try doing it as well. 😍 My favourite from this expedition is the Rose's Lime Juice bottle. ❤ See you next time. 😊👍

Hi Willie, what a fantastic dig so many superb finds I think my favourites have to be the tiny flat back hob nail poison and the emu wine bottle which is a stunning shade of Amber,I absolutely adore Amber glass especially when the sun is shining through it. You really are so lucky on your digs though I think most people would have given up before reaching the depth you did before finding the real treasure level. Keep on digging and keep being lucky my friend, best wishes.
@dirtysecretsofscotland
@dirtysecretsofscotland 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Linda - they're 2 of my favourites from this dig too. Amber glass is so underrated I think. Some of my absolute favourite bottles are amber. Did you get a chance to see Episode 77 - 'Stunning And Super Rare'? That's possibly my best ever glass bottle and it's a very rare local amber bottle. Lights up the room when you hold it up to the sun! You know what - I think that's exactly what did happen on this dig - the previous digger gave up before they hit proper 'pay dirt'! Definitely keeping on digging - more treasures coming soon... Willie :)
