the owner of the house is completely delusional, rent of the house should be based on how big it is, not on the land area. 30-50K is more reasonable. Owner of the house just wants you guys to purchase his property. Michael and Bianca should do careful negotiation in purchasing properties. Filipinos have habit of selling real estate to foreigners above market value.

I don’t think it’s already mentioned but in a rush so didn’t check; the “miracle fruitl” = guyabano in Phil, also called soursop. Teas, shakes, etc. I several tea bags here 🇺🇸brought by friends. Tasty & many reported health benefits.

Miracle Fruit or "Calabash" is different from Guyabano or "Soursop"... Miracle fruit are not often used by Filipinos but it's more powerful antioxidant than Guyabano and Moringa

I’m on west coast Canada seriously considering retiring, in Philippines or Costa Rica , this house seems very reasonable compared to costs here, overall operating cost would be interesting to know
@peter7301 Жыл бұрын
I have noticed that when buying a house in the Philippines, you often end up living in a house that was built according to someone else's design and taste. However, building your own house can be a better option as you will be able to design it according to your own preferences and pay less. I personally prefer the Philippines over Costa Rica as the majority of people here understand and speak English fluently. Additionally, the cost of living in the Philippines is also lower compared to Costa Rica.

I design houses, I never recommend full steel roof nowadays. After I experience typhoon odette, i never recommend steel roofs. I dont believe in typhoon resistance kinda thing. Nature is powerful. If only Im in the government I will revise our building code to atleast 50% of your house roof design is concrete. In case your steel roof will get damage or blown away, there will be a portion of your house that is safe.
@BiancaBeyond2 жыл бұрын
The owner is one of the leading engineers of many buildings in the world including the burj khalifa in Dubai. He is very confident of the building materials and this roof is imported from Japan as the leading hurricane proof roof. As well you'll notice the upstairs roof is a seismic rated slab of concrete too
@washburn82772 жыл бұрын
@@BiancaBeyond if its true then good for him. All Im saying is there is no strong structure in this planet that is more powerful than nature. Still I dont advice steel roofs nowadays in Philippines. I was once "part" of tall buildings in Saudi Arabia too. I work there for 10yrs and Now I work in Japanese Company now here in another part of Asia. I also have one colleague who work in burj dubai and he is also "part" of that project. Again, we are all just "Part" of the project, hope you know what I meant. Sorry for arguing. 🤣😁🤣

As big as the house is, it is completely overpriced. Savannah crest has been around for years, even a decade or longer even if memory serves me right. For a 500,000 usd house, the lot is quite small. You can get a much cheaper house and a bigger house at that even in austin, TX or north carolina with better facilities. That explains why there are numerous vacant lots
@BiancaBeyond2 жыл бұрын
