What do y’all do for promoted listings? Why?

I promote all my listings at the suggested rate with a cap at 8% I sell clothing and there is a lot of competition in that market.

I'm definitely in that weird spot where I've increased my daily listings so I'm just keeping my promoted listings at trending for the majority of my items until I feel like eBay has gotten use to me listing 10 a day. The only change I made recently was increasing promoted above trending on my older listings to see if that helps get rid of that stuff.

Sorry. slightly offtopic.. im trying to help my sister with a method to download and save to D drive, her my ebay listings.. preferably as a WORD document for the descriptions and obviously jpg for the photos so she can easily relist them at some point in the future ( yes past the 90 days that ebay allows a simple relist process), Can this be done? Sometimes new stores have guidelines to do before they can act as a normal store. Ie show they are legit and provide good customer service. Id reach it to eBay.

Promoted listings is a scam! I had the same item listed, but the title was a little different, so I promoted one and the other one I didn't promote. The vies for the promoted was less than the one that I didn't promote!!!
