I’ve lived in NC and SC my whole life. A lot of the places being mentioned are over developing but still have great spots. I hope you enjoy! NC: Asheville/surrounding areas for mountains. OBX is very cute and chill, definitely very beautiful. Wilmington is wonderful, I’ve lived there and grew up nearby. There’s a lot of wonderful local spots and wonderful people, it’s fairly progressive and has a young crowd. SC: Charleston and Hilton head are where rich people always vacationed when I grew up. They’re beautiful and have a lot of things to do. Once you hit the nc/sc border, go to the beaches. They’re so quiet and beautiful. Myrtle beach isn’t as bad as people mention because they’ve never lived here. Just need to hit the local spots and if you’re up for it the touristy spots too. There’s a lot of development in Myrtle in the last few years. Lots of great soul food, Jamaican food, Latin American food, etc. Lots of culture no one pays attention to bc they have preconceived notions about Myrtle sadly. Greenville SC is below Asheville NC and is a cool town to check out too. I hope you enjoy the Carolina’s! We have a lot to offer and a lot of people from out west are moving here. Wherever you go, I hope you shine your light and really get to know the areas ❤️

OMGGGG!! I’m a long time subscriber and live in North Carolina!!!! I think you and James would really like Wilmington, but if you get the chance the mountains are my favorite place in the state!! Asheville is soooo beautiful and some reason definitely a city I see you in. As far as beaches in NC, the OBX (the outer banks) are amazing, not sure the how the cost of living is there, but you should check it out too!!

Hey girl! I'm from Asheville NC. It's beautiful but best time to visit is definitely fall or summer. You might not like it in the winter. Very dead haha

ahh I never comment but I was literally born in wilmington! Such a nice, laidback area. definitely go along the riverwalk and walk around the historic district near the river. such beautiful homes!! for coffee you've gotta check out port city java - a local chain so they'll be all around. and then wrightsville beach is great. also would recommend driving out to southport - very quaint town with a great little downtown and you have to eat along the water at either fishy fishy or provision's. they're the best!

Im from Charlotte, NC so here’s my recs for your travels: North Carolina - outerbanks (I love the northern part of the isles especially), kitty hawk, jockey’s ridge, blue ridge parkway, Saluda or Tryon (mountain towns), Asheville, Boone/blowing rock South Carolina: Hilton head - the most beautiful beaches of the South Carolina. Get bikes and bike around the island, bike into palmetto dunes - so lush and green. Charleston/isle of palms/ follie beach are classics. Myrtle beach is overhyped x10 but 🤷♀️ if you wanna get the full SC experience, I won’t judge ya. Georgia - Savannah/ ATL In Florida you should deffff do Miami & South Beach, Everglades, and go along the Gulf of Mexico to Cape San Blas.

Off of Hilton head, there’s a remote island called Dafuskie, take a ferry out and golf cart around for the day. There’s also Edisto…I think one of the islands has wild horses at some time in the year More Georgia; Jekyll’s island, Amelia Island

Come to Asheville Nc! So many vegan restaurants and options at brewery’s. Also make sure you go see the blue ridge and go hiking. Frying pan tower is a nice fun hike!

That was sweet! I've missed you too! I haven't seen one of your videos in a few years but searched my subscriptions and found you! I'm so happy to hear you are doing great! I miss your adventures and adorable hippie thrift hauls! I track my periods as well, but add neem capsules of the dried leaf during my ovulation days. I take 5 a day. Worst symptoms is some breast tenderness randomly, but it works well with tracking for a few years! I take them as an added precaution, not my only defense. There are some mixed studies on it, but It sounds like it would be the only known natural male birth control as well that I've heard of? Very interesting stuff! Definitely research Neem! I am also very excited about your 66 days to new habits challenge! I'm on day 64 of quitting smoking and drinking! And I can agree that quitting has become my new normal. If I ever have a craving it is because I'm letting myself be bored or I'm stressed by outside sources that are harder for me to control. I'm definitely getting there! 😊 Day 35 was the real game changer for me, I could feel something completely shift in me. Since then my progress has been gradual, but noticeable once looking back! Anyways, I'm so happy to see you still having fun, and I'll be checking in more often!

Ahhh I also started struggling with hormonal acne this year :/ I started drinking spearmint tea per a ton of Reddit suggestions and it’s helped so much! I may try out the vitamins you suggested if the tea doesn’t continue to work for me tho so tysm for sharing. Acne is the worst but I am totally on the same page as you with not getting back on the pill, it made me batshit crazy 😩

Wilmington is nice. There's really no way you can prepare for it, but expect it to be disgustingly, breath takingly humid. Especially in summer and spring but definitely year round. Don't underestimate the temperature, if it's over 85 it will feel like hell lol At least in the Wilmington/coastal area it will be breezy. In the mountains it's breezy and a little less humid, which is my preference. I live in central NC but moving to the mountains in Virginia ASAP, probably in January. I have asthma and allergies so I just can't handle the heat anymore. But if you dont have any breathing issues you should be good. For reference I was walking miles and miles outside in Vegas in 105+ weather but in NC I stay indoors or only do stationary activities outdoors if it's over 70 😂.

thanks for letting me know! I actually prefer extremely hot and humid climates (lol), I tend to thrive in tropical climates and humidity so hopefully I can handle it hehe. But we will be there in the winter mostly just this time around so I'm sure we won't experience it at its worst
