Thank you for explaining and breaking down the numbers. Please make a video on understanding what the numbers we should be using in the Greeks when using sell options and buying options. I understand that you prefer selling options but some small portfolios are still tiny when starting out. To get to a level too sell options that are not able to use margin accounts.

he doesn't mention in this video but he has and others that to get an edge is to watch your position and cut losses early taking only a 25 or 50% hit and not 100% loss. if you win $20 four times but you lose 80 once you will breakeven but by cutting losses early you put it in your favor in addition to other methods of market analysis and technical data. ❤

NEVER say a stock is overpriced and think it won't move up 20+ percent in a short time. Short squeezes are the most powerful moves in the market. Millions of folks, and more millions of computer algo's are also short the same position. The market LOVES to blow out shorts. You need to mention some sort of stop loss to truly help those with small accts limit losses. Example, close trade if you are down 2x what ur profit would have been. Live to trade another day!

I recently found your videos and was excited to do these spread strategies since I have a small account, the problem you don't tell people is that, you need the entire amount in your account for 100 shares of the stocks you are doing spreads for. So unless you are doing stocks worth under $10, then you are gonna need 10s of thousand of dollars in order to do more than 1 trade. That isn't small account size for normal people. Maybe for you it is since you have millions.

Incorrect. For example a put credit spread sell $100 and buy the $95 you only need $500 in collateral. So your max loss is $500 minus the credit you received.

@@southduck It does not work. When I try to do any spread with less than the amount for 100 shares, it says trade cannot be completed because lack of funds.

@FTrunks21 what platform are you using? For example on Robinhood. You need to have 2 transactions on the same trade. For example a $110 stock. Sell the $100 put and buy the $95 put all in one transaction. Should work for you.

He, in this case lets it expire worthless to save tons of money in the transaction fees. If it was at risk, he would bite the bullet and close it out.

They are still willing to pump that stock much higher! Look at NVDS and you will see the price on this short needs to drop from 37 back down to $8. This means that nvda can still have lot of room to grow

If you want to trade safe, don’t use margin. You are assume your option will end in the money, this is extremely risky.

No it is not. You just need to do cash secured puts with very low delta. Watch Henry’s videos.

@@americandreams8200 Not trying to be mean, understand you are just trying to make some money. His job is to glorify so you can watch (look at his titles). If you are trading options long term it’s extremely risky (with or without margin). You will lose eventually, and when you lose you will be stuck with margin. Obviously how much margin will be dependent on your option. Not saying not to do it, but just trying to be honest about “safe trading on margin without paying interest.” Made tens of thousands and lost tens of thousands, also recently paid back $20k in margin because of the interest rate hikes. I’m very lucky and my account is up 30+ percent overall No matter what I say wouldn’t matter to you but best of luck.
