While none of these sunscreens would work for me, I want to say how much I love the way you review sunscreen. I don't like a glowy finish, and for some reason, almost all sunscreens look extra-glowy on my skin. Even "natural finish" makes me look like I have oily skin - my skin is on the dry side. Abbey's reviews show how much glow the sunscreen has when fully dry ... so I can judge how it would look on my skin. Most reviewers don't show this ... they'll show a drop on their hand, nothing else. [Angie at Hot & Flashy does a good review - but she prefers all mineral sunscreens.] I'm very much looking forward to the Asian sunscreen review! The Asian sunscreens show promise, but I don't want to order things I will never use because they make me look like a disco ball.

Just want to highlight that the Shiseido sunscreen comes in different formulas/UV-filter depending on what region it’s sold in! For example, the US version differs in texture and filters from the European, and the Asian version differs from the other two. So anyone watching this review should have this in mind. I personally love the European version (needs to be shaken well), it’s perhaps one of the best sunscreens for both face and body I’ve used. ❤️ Does not dry oily at all, fels very juice on the skin and gives a perfect base for makeup. I just wish it came in an unscented version. ☺️

I've tried countless Neutrogena sunscreens. They ALL sting my eyes/make them water -- even the mineral ones!! (And, even though I have skin on the drier side, I can't wear non-organic susncreens; they feel heavy on my skin, which causes me to flush up and get hives; my skin just doesn't like the zinc, maybe -- ?) I've tried nearly all (if not all) of the sunscreens at target, Walgreens, Ulta, and Kroger. Sunscreen is supposed to coat your skin as the more spf the denser the protective coating. So if you don’t feel the coating chances are it isn’t concentrating the avobenzone, octinoxate and oxybenzone enough to actually protect your skin well or it is filled with vitamin e oil or other oils. The perfumes that a lot of these sunscreens pack are horrible for your skin in direct sunlight.

sunscreen is just one step in avoiding sun damage. it is not a guarantee to 100% prevent it. very generous and continuous application is required. at the beach reapplication is recommended every hour or every time you get wet. using a water resistant higher spf 50+ is also crucial. but that's just one step. wearing protective clothing (spf certified swimsuits, rash guards n shirts n pants), sun hats/visors that are spf certified as well as seeking shade and avoiding direct sun exposure are all very important steps as well. look into EVY sunscreens for beach/high sun exposure times. but even if u don't use EVY using other water resistant sunscreens (reapplying often n generously) n wearing protective clothing n sunhats, seeking shade etc will all add up.

The First Aid Beauty SPF felt so disgusting on my skin. Same thing! Super greasy and oily feeling. I was shining like a disco ball. I returned it after the first use.

As a dry-skinned girl, I found that the Sheisido doesn’t leave the wet look on me, though I thought it might the first time I applied it because it is quite watery/oily looking. It does sting my eyes a little but only the left eye, which makes me wonder if it is a seasonal allergy thing.

Shiseido Urban Environment is pretty good they have for normal and oil free. Works great under makeup too.

Could you a video on the best body sunscreen? Would love some Asian sunscreen recommendations for that too and ones to wear when you are active!

i second this! especially some good affordable options since wearing/reapplying body sunscreens all summer can get expensive!

Banana Boat Light As Air Sunscreen Lotion - SPF 50 --- the best body sunscreen imo. water resistant incredibly light weight to the point can't even tell it's on! not much in asian beauty in terms of body sunscreens as many rely on protective clothing n sun hats n avoiding sun in general. u won't see many at the beach etc. but I can't live like that so I use body sunscreen n seek shade when possible.

@@ninjaturtles12121 I’ve heard that one was good but haven’t tried it yet! Thank you for your recommendation, will definitely try it now(:

@@vanessarose9692 it's the best! hope u like it. also I can use LOTS of it n it will all rub in n still be 'light as air' even after multiple applications through the day. idk how they do it! wish there was a fragrance free option for the face.

Soybean Oil is HIGHLY comedogenic so I don’t know if that Naturium sunscreen is really for oily skin types.

I keep trying american suncreens only to dislike them. the eye sting is real and i have waterey eyes anyway but add a lot of the filters used here and the faucet is running. I also know I don't like tinted sunscreens because of how they color the very light hair on my hairline. For some unknown reason I keep forgetting this and will buy one and then remember why I shy away from them. I currently have the new FAB one. I have to force myself to use it just to use it up. I much, much prefer the asian ones and buy them in bulk when I order. I search for the unicorn sunscreen continues but the asian ones are far and away the best. If we could get the Aussie and more European ones to try I would love it.

I think you might like the Cetaphil pro AC dermacontrol moisturizing lotion spf 30, which is for oily skin but feels like a very light lotion and has a very watery texture. Technically it is a moisturizer with ceramides that allows you to apply two fingers of protection without a greasy finish. 🥰

Since I know you love the tinted Neutrogena sunscreen, have you seen the Alleyoop sunscreen that comes in like 10 shades? I'm curious if it's actually good, but I thought of you since you'd mentioned that you'd been looking for a sunscreen with a wider shade range.
