Being low on dopamine leads to being low on noradrenaline (also called norepinephrine), and being low on noradrenaline causes anxiety. Some doctors will just give you a tour of all the SSRIs, without considering other options. I have adhd and strattera has been the best for my anxiety. ♥️

My biggest issue with the new battlepass thing is that this isn't how I play the Sims. I don't stay invested for 6 weeks. I just no life the game for a week or two and then I don't touch it for months. Opening the game to do a 15 minutes quest each week just sounds tedious.

I literally don’t understand why, if they want to offer in game rewards through playing the game, they don’t make permanent scenarios where you can unlock these items across all save files. Zoo tycoon did this 20 years ago and I LIVED for playing all the scenarios to get my cute decor items and I never felt panicked about not having enough time to get everything. I can understand sims sessions or the positivity challenge being limited time events because of licensing things, but also, if baby Ariel is in my game forever I don’t see why I can’t play with Jasmine Holiday whenever I damn well please

The performance update is BIG. My legacy save used to be 170mb before this update; it's now 15mb. I had to press esc once every 5-10 minutes to fix the FPS stutters but it doesn't happen anymore. It's like playing a brand new save file... everything's smooth like butter.

I think they did that so we could make a haunted attraction lot. Put in the lot trait spooky, with a haunted residential trait for build, along with cursed and grimlins and grody. You might add on Vampire Nexus for good measure to really get the scary amp up. Good luck and have fun!!

One post I made in EA Answers was about the camera jittering with or without terrain editing. Crin replied today to say that it's been fixed, but to check just in case some lots aren't fixed. The first lot I looked at was Havisham House in Windenburg. Unfortunately, the jittering is much worse. But three other lots I looked at are a lot better. Still have to check on others. All of the new window heights of the same window design and all of the new color swatches for objects is awesome. It's about time!

9:47 I'm really not liking this, I collected all the previous battle passes but my computer had a problem and I needed to format it. After logging into my account and downloading Sims 4 again I simply lost all those items and the Sims support is ignoring all my e-mails. So it seems that if anything happens with my PC again I might lose even more items and whatever all that stuff no matter what 🤷‍♀️ Honestly, I'm just getting to the verge point of my patience, and probably in a couple of months, I'll let go of this game forever. Oh, thank God. Maybe once I update it I will be able to play it again. After that last update due to Lovestruck, the lag between when I click on a Sim and when the decision wheel comes up was so bad, it was unplayable. I got rid of all my mods but the royalty mod, which I was actively using in my game, but it didn't help. Fingers crossed this performance update will make it functional again. My poor royals were left in a half-finished castle and expecting their first child. I think a lot of build simmers will use that excited, not scared lot challenge/trait to build Halloween haunted houses.

So, they fixed some MINOR bugs but left others untouched. Like in Dined Out: can someone have a date without their pair always standing up and people interrupting? Cottage Life: I participate in some competitions (like the pie one) and I don't receive anything nor receive a notification about it even if I stay in the lot. Horse Ranch: when I move from a family to their neighbours, their mini goats and sheep become dirty and hungry and run away and the family that doesn't own them gets the notification?! These are three, but there are many more...

A big free update would be putting infant and toddler items for packs where they didn't exist since they barely have anything (which is why they had to make a KIT, so simmers would be forced to buy stuff for life stages that should just some items since they were added later)

And, Practice Makes Perfect is a great trait. Although sims learn skills slow at first, they get better at every skill faster in every category they keep learning in. I've maxed skills fast using this trait, I'd be focused on one sims and the sim with this trait will be destroying skills. It's a little terrifying when they get the +5 moodlet, they'll likely never feel a negative emotion when that buff is active.

The only thing I like with this battlepass is the rewards are tied to your EA account and not your computer so if you change computers you still have all of the rewards you unlocked. Having to boot The Sims 4 up on both my PC and my Macbook (RIP) during the last battlepass was a bit tedious.

Sadly, it'll probably work just well enough for them to feel justified that this new direction is a good decision. I can't wait for proper competition to come stomping along and hand out a reality check.

So I can hear a meeting somewhere... "OMG, Life by You and InZoi and Paralives all have the ability to have walls and floors and terrain be whatever color they want! What do we do?" ... "I know! We'll give them more color swatches so they can do more colors!" ... "They still won't have the ability to make everything match." ... "Shhhhh! They'll figure that out later! And in the meantime they'll be really happy with the 'free' stuff we'll give them. Hopefully enough to forget for awhile all the stuff that's still broken." I picture it about like that. Totally ignoring that people have been asking for a plain swatch of the bathroom door since it came out, and other size arches, and more colors on every darn thing FOR YEARS, they gave it to us in a free update, yay! Everyone ignore all the problems with the game cause they gave free stuff, yay! Question is, did they add/fix swatches of items that came in the same packs but don't match so we never use them? Doubtful. Did they fix it so people's save files don't get corrupted? Doubt it. How about ANY of the major issue? Anything? The little things are all well and good but won't make people like me play it again. Honestly, I forgave a lot after they gave the update with all the swatches and the windows and all that LAST time they did it, because I thought it was an indication that they would do better and give more. But they didn't. Then they did the Spa Day refresh and, again, I forgave a lot because I thought it meant they were again going to do better and give more. But they didn't. Then they did the likes/dislikes but didn't do it for all packs/activities saying they would update it over time. But they didn't and admitted that they WON'T. So I don't care how many swatches of what that they give, I'm still not loading Sims 4 for ANYTHING until it is completely fixed. Since we all know that can't happen, I suppose I'm eternally boycotting it. That's ok, I'm having a blast with World Adventures.

I like that the rewards are stored on the account rather than locally - I still can’t believe the last one was like that. I share my account with my sister, I’m hoping they’ll be unlocked on both our computers once one of us gets the reward.

this update is ridiculous, all these recolors can be found on amateur creators' pages. EA is desperate because they are getting their butt kicked with the release of new games. They have been on the market for so many years and are so poor in ideas and quality that are disgusting there main focous is only maney.

The fact kits should’ve been base game free updates and when they pay walled the changing table in growing together, when that kinder set is base game is honestly still ridiculous and stingy af. I’m shocked no one is mad about it. Kits should only be paid for IF it’s made by cc creators. Also 90% sims worlds are set dressings and empty and 2D pictures and props the further you go in the map, 10% rabbit holes, and 1% playable. It’s so sad how limited lots are in some worlds and just taken up by low looking fake buildings/ houses.

The grim reaper rewards definitely look like they are bonus content for the new expansion pack. Lots of life and death type things. Maybe, instead of just giving us new items for base game updates related to the new pack, they are making us earn them.

scare seeker makes so much more sense as a sim trait, but i imagine because we have so many traits and only 3 slots originally + we got a sim trait with the last battlepass, then they wanted to make something for a lot this time. although why its a lot challenge and not a lot trait is beyond me. i also agree that spreading this out through 6 weeks is annoying, the last time it was 4 weeks i believe and even that was so long.

Its due to the fact their demo has gone, so naturally, the hype will die down again until they release the early access or give the creators access to early access 😊
