by the way, to fuss a bit more about the hotkeys. Did you know that you can press Shift-Delete it delete things instantly? Without the pop up and having to press 'yes' everytime you want to delete something. (You probably do, but just in case) Love the series! My current favorite thing to watch on youtube.

i like the tree farm near the dam. maybe circularize it since you don't need that much stored water anymore. i would also request a pump for the reservoir or a flood gate for emergencies. if for some reason you don't get enough water in the lowlands, you have a backup plan without having to keep dynamite laying out in the open on top of the dam. i feel somewhat uncomfortable with the dynamite just sitting there lol.

And for me, personally, this episode serves a double celebration. The colony celebrates its one hundredth cycle of success here while I celebrate my 37th birthday. I'll be honest, I'd like to see another statue go up somewhere. Perhaps a couple of the smaller ones with active flames as bookends for the district gate between the terraces and the lowlands. And, as a small birthday request (if it's not too presumptuous of me), maybe use a small handful of single dynamite to make a little smiley face somewhere, even if it gets filled back in afterwards.

a super decorated shrine or observatory on the island in the reservoir would be really cool. also venice like canals going straight to the other corner from the waterfall with little towns and villages. have small bits of water farming and cozy homes built into the hillside along the rivers

16:35, little tip for dynamiting from high up, throw bridges above the area you want to dynamite, yes you need a series of them but that's a minor expense after you got the mine running. You won't need stairs at all (besides getting to said bridges)

You can connect those fluid dumps to the stream gauge at the far left of the terraces. Then if it gets too low, you can switch the dumps on.

I think keep the water dumps for aesthetic purposes. You can even use the simple triggers mod to have them automatically unpause if the water level gets too low.

Loving the infection free zone series, hoping it continues along with the beavers.. One thing i thought of at the end is the input and output of the new reservoir... If you get a decent wet season, is it possible that it might fill to fast for the outputs and the farm pump to manage.. ❤

Nope, he's got 10 dam tiles plus a pump for outlet, that can cope with a surprisingly large flow, way more than this map produces. In fact I believe it's enough to outflow for over half of the thousand islands water output, so it's more than adequate for this.

2:50, you should install the shaft extensions mod, has bridge shafts that could speed up the process there. Also keep an eye out for my mod later, greedy builders, takes the best of both factions. Just in the middle of doing a thorough playthrough test, then I need to somehow change the logo and full beaver avatar to a custom one so it can be recognised in the main menu (currently using the FT images).

This was really cool and pretty awesome. Fun stuff here. So, looking at what you did, my one 'this would be a fun idea' is that the tree farm right in front of the new dam could be rounded off to be completely and 'perfectly' circular. With maybe a wonder in its center or something, cause Beavers do like wood! But yeah, this as great. Also I look forward to seeing whatever project you do in the middle of the map. Its going to be glorious. As an aside, I wonder if you would consider putting dirt blocks on the power wall rather than the material blocks. But yeah this was super fun!

the tree farm infront of the double dam should mimic the shape, of the dam on the back end. hell you could even make a a nice water feature in the middle of the circle and have the water trickle down thru water channels in your tree farm. semi eliminate need for water dumb. just an idea tho

Glorious! That view is just awesome, my favourite Skye project to date, hands down. However, I'm now rather curious as to whether you're still planning to make a water recycler loop around the edge, I'm actually not convinced you need to with the amount of storage you have but the new patch increased evaporation rates a HUGE amount so I'm a little concerned you might end up having issues on longer droughts if they're followed by a short wet season, that new reservoir creates a fair delay on water reaching the colony and might well dry up somewhat faster than initially anticipated.
